A tornado has overtaken the streamer fan base as a huge debate is taking place on who should be crowned the title of Streaming Mount Rushmore. The discussion of a Streaming Mount Rushmore has been ongoing for a while, with even other creators naming their favorites. Last year, streamer FazeBanks named his personal favorite streamers, which included RiceGum, Adin Ross, Tfue, and Plaqueboymax, along with an explanation of why each of them deserves to be on there.

Fans share their views on Streaming Mount Rushmore

Streaming fans have been quite vocal about whether or not they agree with this lineup for the Streaming Mount Rushmore, while others offer their own opinions on who deserves to be up there.

Rice gum is more known for YouTube than streaming. I would put PlaqueBoyMax in replacement of Ricegum.- one fan said.
No disrespect to anyone, but they aren't even close to the pioneers / OGs, you would have to go to like 2016/17 for the OG pioneers- another states.
Yeah going viral for being complete wrong lmfao. None of these dudes made streaming what it is today. >Reckful >Sodapoppin >Lirik >Ninja Fixed it :)- one user commented.
While another expressed,- When i think of a "mount rushmore" of content creators, i think ab the og's not the new gen of creators. If we're goin off current, idk why Jynxzi and Caseoh arent there instead of Adin and Ricegum

Though the topic of who the best streamer is remains subjective, there are a few streamers who can be credited with pioneering the industry. Streaming has been around since 2010, and when it comes to big names in the space, Andy Milonakis and Ice Poseidon helped popularize IRL streaming. Another major name is Ninja, one of the highest-earning live streamers who started with gaming streams on Twitch. Michael “Shroud” and Pokimane are also notable names who have left a lasting impact on the industry.

According to Complex, who asked attendees at TwitchCon 2024 who they think are the best Twitch creators, it was unofficially declared that Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed are at the top of the industry right now.
