One Steam Update changed everything for players, leaving them excited for what seems to be a preemptive release signal.

Fans of Hollow Knight: Silksong have eagerly awaited news for what feels like an eternity, but it appears they might finally get blessed with a release. Steam’s page for the game now contains a “coming soon” label, which hints at more promotional material in the near future.

While lacking an official launch date, the simplistic tagline reignites hope that Team Cherry might offer their highly awaited sequel to the public soon.

The game is not set to debut publicly for a while, but the boost in its rank alongside other games releasing this April fuels speculation that an April 29, 2025, date is plausible.

The absence of a Steam public release already placed it among the “Coming Soon” tier, suggesting that users browsing Adventure, Souls-Like, and Story Rich genres were Silksong getting a boost up the ranking charts for unexplained - or purportedly - cataclysm core reasons.

The expectation set by the vague deadlines is combined with recent changes to copyright texts and shifts in access to files used to promote the game, tweaking the promotional interface of the game.

Nintendo Direct Appearance Rekindles Hype

During the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct, the buzz surrounding Silksong increased again after its notable cameo, which confirmed a rough release window for 2025. While no specific date was announced, fans seized the statement as a positive indicator of the project's progress. With Steam now listing the title under “Coming Soon,” their optimism is only growing.

Plot: A New Kingdom, A New Journey

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, players take on one of the new endeavors by Hornet the Agile. Shosenady brings her life into a new semi-open world where she must explore new worlds fighting the cursed evil as she tries to escape out of the haunted kingdom, which is far away from Hallownest.

She comes up against a giant vertical level from where she has to go to the peak of the kingdom. On the way, she discovers a variety of caps of enemies and allies, crafting able tools to help endow themselves. She also focused on fight enabled over the diverse polutated world which silksong provides through various levels.

This has many attractions, such as Wardux and Path Of Pain, as the names suggest. The tale is filled with great moments wrapped by the same mystic darkness and light as seen in Hollow Knight, making it into a current legend.

Will Silksong Drop This Month?

Neither Team Cherry nor Steam is making any formal announcement; it is easily reachable through detectable backend changes like Binance smart tracking or other tag sorting systems that have been in use recently for marketing. Edelweiss seems to be in agreement with uson saying that till the end of April shadow drop should be fine.

For the time being, prepare yourself for everything to be quiet and monotonous, but the ghost returning to the trumpy universe of Hallownest seems quite appealing with clues sizzling.
