Social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have reportedly left Romania on a private jet to the US. They were arrested in Romania in 2022 and face charges of s*xual misconduct, trafficking, and money laundering charges. Social media users seemed surprised at the decision. One X user suggested:

“So he’s going to see adin lol.”

Netizens shared the same thoughts while others raised certain questions about their sudden departure.

“the content is boutta be crazy, and if it’s florida you know they’re flying out to adin ross rn in miami,” an online commentator noted.
“They left Romania pretty quickly once restrictions were lifted. Timing seems important. Any guesses on why now?” a social media user confusingly asked.
“Wow so it was all a hoax and they were completely innocent the whole time thats crazy,” a netizen reacted.

While some X users welcomed them, others inquired if Andrew and Tristan Tate would work on a reality show.

“He got rid of the Matrix. He is an inspiration,” an internet user opined.
“Are they headed for a reality show next? This is gonna be entertaining,” a netizen asked.
“Welcome to Florida, boys,” a person commented.

The news went viral after photos of Andrew waving from the steps of an aircraft circulated on social media platforms. The photos were reportedly taken before the plane left the Băneasa airport in Bucharest. According to BBC, the Romanian prosecutors released a statement saying that the brothers were under judicial control.

The brothers hold dual citizenship in the UK and the US. They are reported to comply with the investigation as they still face the charges. Moreover, the deal requires the brothers to return to Romania later for legal proceedings.

Andrew Tate had denied the charges leveled against him

Following their arrest in December 2022, Tate and his brother were investigated for human trafficking and r*pe allegations, which they denied. They were officially charged, along with two Romanian women, in June 2023. Following the charges, their media team stated that while the news was expected, they welcomed the chance to prove their innocence.

In December 2023, Romanian authorities declined their request to leave the country to visit their mother in the UK. However, in July 2024, a court allowed them to travel within the European Union while keeping them under judicial supervision. Prosecutors confirmed that their restrictions remained in place despite their removal request.

Four British women who accused Andrew Tate of s*xual abuse expressed distress upon learning he had left Romania, fearing he would avoid prosecution there. They also worried he would use his freedom to intimidate witnesses and spread harmful views.

Their legal team previously warned that the U.S. government might pressure Romania to relax travel restrictions, and reports suggest Washington had raised the case with Romanian officials. The women’s lawyer stated that seeing such high-level support for someone accused of serious crimes was deeply upsetting for the victims.

Besides that, Andrew had been a supporter of Donald Trump and played a significant role during his Presidential campaign.
