Lil Tjay's barber is calling him out for not being a good tipper.

In a video circulating on X, Lil Tjay's barber can be heard dissing him, saying that he was the worst out of all his clients. According to the barber, Tjay once failed to tip him on a $95 haircut, and when his team handed the barber a $100 bill, they asked for the $5 back.

The video has since gone viral, drawing varied reactions. Users are either siding with the rapper, noting that there's no rule that it's mandatory to tip people, though others are saying it's common courtesy. Check out what one user questioned, for instance:

"Since when has it been mandatory to tip people?"

Scores online joined the discourse:

"You think he became a millionaire because he just giving away money?" someone questioned.
"Idc what the price is always tip the barber," another opined.
"charging ppl that much for a haircut is greedy.. ppl tryna call the other guy “broke” after paying $95 for a freaking HAIRCUT! is that not dumb to yall?? Or do yall pay $95 for haircuts? idc how rich a person is.. being reasonable goes a long way.. I don’t even wanna pay $40 for the haircuts I get now.. this world is so greedy and money hungry.." a third person chimed in.
"$95 for a cut? & also you should never assume someone is tipping you if they give you a bill and its change left ALWAYS ask would they like it back don't just take it and assume they are tipping you the money that's leftover," yet another pointed out.

The comments didn't end there, as users reacted with a mix of ire, sarcasm, and humor:

"90 percent of you didn't listen, It's a house call. I'm not traveling to your house to give you a fade for under 100 bucks," another tweeted.
"That's pretty messed up. Someone comes to you to provide a service then you should definitely tip. A $5 tip would have been better than nothing, but asking for the change is messed up," a dissenting voice added.

The comments section was visibly divided, with users either dissing the barber or the artist.

Lil Tjay gets banned from Madison Square Garden after spitting in a security guard's face: Read more

Lil Tjay made headlines just days ago when he spit in a security guard's face during a boxing match at Madison Square Garden in New York City last week. As reported by TMZ, the rapper and his crew were at the event for a showdown between Keyshawn Davis and Denys Berinchyk.

However, at one point, when Lil Tjay and his crew tried to make it to the VIP area ringside but were denied entry because they lacked the proper credentials, an altercation broke out.

“Our policy is that patrons that engage in confrontational and disruptive behavior will be escorted out and banned from all MSG properties," a rep for MSG told TMZ.

Videos of the altercation depict the artist getting physical with the employee who blocked him from entering, and when the older man began pushing him away, someone from his team came forth to defend him.

However, the security guard continued to push him around, prompting the rapper to spit at him. Within seconds, a fleet of guards came out to escort the artist and his team out of the venue.

At the time of writing, Lil Tjay has yet to comment on the incident.
