Amidst the $50 million lawsuit that was filed against Shannon Sharpe by an anonymous woman, Sharpe's ex-girlfriend, Michele Bundy Evans, also came forward to file a lawsuit against the former NFL player. Sharpe and Evans were together for ten years, however, it ended on a sour note with the latter getting a restraining order after an alleged r*pe incident. According to her, the ESPN host also threatened to "ruin" her in case she ever spoke about what happened between them.

Michele filed a $4 million lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe in 2025, after recent news where an unknown woman, going by Jane Doe, according to the courts, filed a civil complaint for battery, s**ual battery, assault, s**ual assault, and intentional infliction of emotional distress during a two-year relationship with the podcaster.

As for Evans, her lawsuit against Sharpe is one of defamation. It was filed after the NFL star opened up about the legal proceedings that were happening between him and Evans on television. Page Six received some court documents that revealed more information about what happened in 2010. Michele Bundy Evans had filed for a restraining order after accusing Sharpe of stalking her and s**ual assault back in September 2010.

Shannon Sharpe's ex reveals her side of the story

Michele Bundy Evans shared details from the lawsuit that were previously confidential. It revealed that the couple were in an argument when Sharpe told his partner to get on her knees and continued to s**ually assault her and then r**e her.

She also mentioned that she was looking for legal help when her ex-boyfriend, Sharpe, warned that he would "ruin" her. This lawsuit was dropped after Evans was harassed at home with her daughter, according to her statements to The US Sun.

Sharpe's lawyers claimed that this was just a "fabricated narrative" created by Evans for personal gain while the former football player was still battling the other civil complaint against him.

According to Mitchell Schuster (Shannon Sharpe's legal counsel), he said:

"Sadly, Ms. Evans became obsessed with Shannon and decided to manufacture a claim against him. When she could not find a lawyer to pursue her outrageous story, she filed a civil complaint on her own that is completely devoid of merit."

Schuster also clarified that the two exes were not in contact with each other for a long time. He elaborated:

"The fact is that Shannon has had no contact with this person for many years and it is our understanding that she is still on probation after serving 3 years for trying to kill her husband so that she could hopefully pursue a relationship with Shannon," the lawyer revealed.

Evans' history revealed that she was in jail in 2017 because of a domestic incident with her alleged abusive husband.

Regarding the case between Shannon Sharpe and Jane Doe, this is what Michele had to say:

"I want people to understand what Shannon did to this woman, by doxing her, by putting out her name, by putting out her OnlyFans account... That was horrifying, because things are going to happen to her because of that. I still get it to this day, and I went through a lot of things, as you can see in the complaint, that actually even stemmed from it."

Shannon Sharpe and his legal team are standing by the fact that the relationship between the former CBS Sports host and Jane Doe was completely consensual, despite the age gap. Sharpe's legal team defended him by saying:

"Bottom line, Shannon has done nothing wrong and intends to fight back against these malicious lies not with manufactured defenses or imaginary stories but with documentary proof and real evidence."
