In the video, Peter refers to Jessica Reed Kraus’ post on Substack that reportedly confirms that the Obamas might be moving towards a divorce. Whilst imploring viewers not to shoot the messenger, the podcast host implies that the possibility of an affair between Obama and Aniston would leave everyone “at the edge of their seats.”

Although neither Barack Obama nor his wife has addressed the rumors surrounding their marriage, other parties, including Jennifer Aniston, have dismissed them as mere gossip.
According to People Magazine, Aniston appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show in October 2024 and was shown headlines that read, “The Truth About Jen & Barack and “Michelle Obama betrayed as Aniston steals her husband’s attention,” to which she replied:
"Of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you’re just like, ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be? Or the email saying, you know, some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story, and then it's that.”
The Friends actress told Kimmel that she wasn’t upset about the headlines as they were “absolutely untrue.” She stated that she had met Obama only once and knew Michelle more than him.
