Jess Hilarious is calling out her fellow The Breakfast Club co-hosts for allegedly running the group like a high school and making her feel like an outcast since she came back from her maternity leave.
Hilarious, who replaced Angela Yee as the permanent third co-host of the radio program, called out her colleagues, especially Loren LoRosa. The latter served as her substitute when she was on maternity leave.
While she did not name-drop Charlamagne Tha God or DJ Envy, she did voice her woes with them in no uncertain terms, noting that no one defends her when she's being trolled online:
"We supposed to be a team, but not one person comes to my defense at all, ever," Jess Hilarious stated. "With this online sh*t. I feel played with, so I’m gonna play with **gas. I've been quiet a lot."
Jess Hilarious says she has no plans to leave The Breakfast Club, says it makes sense her predecessor left the show
Jess Hilarious, who is still a part of The Breakfast Club team, said she was threatened by LoRosa, though she revealed she eventually overcame the sentiment:
"'Nah it ain't even you I don't like,' I'm realizing," she stated on Instagram Live. "It's the way these n**gas is doing sh*t up here."
The Baltimore-born comedian also claimed that the show made her feel like a "villain" for voicing concern about her capacity on the show once she came back from her leave. She then referenced Angela Yee, who was on the show for 13 years:
"Angela Yee ain’t that motherf*cking crazy. Not as crazy as n*ggas try to make her out to be. There’s a reason that lady wanted to leave that show. I don’t know how she did that sh*t for 13 years. I don’t give a f**k, you already know what’s up with me. I feel played with, so I’m gonna play with n*ggas. I’ve been quiet a lot.”
Yee departed from the radio program back in 2022, and the show ran through several guest hosts before settling on Jess Hilarious in 2024. The latter has been earning widespread acclaim over the last year for her role on the popular Power 105.1 show. Despite her woes, she has asserted that she is not being fired, nor does she have any plans to leave the show.
Jess Hilarious rejoined the show after her maternity leave in November 2024. She gave birth to her daughter, Marley Sky Moore Tolliver, in August that year.
