Mielle Organics is under fire once again, this time for allegedly powering a video that subtly targets Beyonce in a now-deleted social media post.

The controversy stems from a video released by MFeater Magazine, filmed during their annual Galentine's New York Fashion Week runway show that is seemingly powered by Mielle Organics for the third time in a row. The Galentine's New York Fashion Week by MFeater Magazine features up-and-coming women-centric designers.

In the now-deleted backstage video at the event, an anchor is seen asking attendees who they believe is the most overrated artist. One person mentioned Beyonce, adding that she is "old" and that pop culture needs newer younger artists to reflect the changing times.

Fans have since taken to social media to criticize the beauty brand for their alleged association with such an event. Many are calling out Mielle Organics, a company known for its Black-owned identity, for allegedly participating in the slander of another Black woman. Here is how one fan reacted:

I just saw the video and I am very disappointed that a black-owned business / black platform would go around asking a very low distasteful and negative question and then have people disrespect Bey like that. Not a good look at all and I need for us to do better. smh!

Several others also joined the heated discussion:

"The question was already tacky, but only interviewing or including 3 people in a video in which 2 of them unjustifiably chose someone who consistently gives others, including the Mielle ceo, their flowers?" said one user.
"That MEFeater situation is just another example of what we’ve been saying for years regarding these online “publications”. They rarely, if ever, adhere to any journalistic standards or have integrity. Everything is clicks and views." said one user while critizing the magazine.

Many fans criticized the brand, claiming it was allegedly trying to undercut Beyonce's beauty line, Cècred. The brand recently announced a major expansion, with Cècred products now available in Ulta stores across the country.

"Videos about Mielle Organics making ppl hair fall off keep getting viral on TikTok, thousands of comments under these posts, but they dare to shade Beyoncé. Priorities all f**ked." tweeted one person.

Another person said

"Mielle organic employees calling Beyoncé overrated meanwhile their products are causing baldness. Please be serious😭"
"So Mielle Organics sponsored that video calling Beyoncé old and overrated because of Cecred competition? This tea."said another user.
"Mind u all their products are ass and they got ppl on tiktok saying it makes their hair fall out" pointed out another fan.

More fans joined in:

"Aren't their products so bad now that it's causing people's hair to fall out? They have much bigger problems than a competing hair care line." yet another pointed out.
"Mielle cant even compete with other walmart products... them feeling threatened by cécred is hilarious. Yet another group of ppl with misdirected one-sided anger towards B who have the nerve to talk sht cuz she doesn't respond. If mielle's recent hair-loss lawsuits wasn't their downfall, I hope this is." explained one.

Mielle Organics and their ongoing lawsuit

Mielle Organics was founded in 2014 by Monique Rodriguez. The company prides itself on creating products designed to promote healthy hair. However, since last year, many users have taken to social media to criticize the brand's viral Rosemary Mint & Hair Strengthening Oil, claiming that it has led to severe hair loss.

The company, which was acquired by P&G, now faces a class action lawsuit alleging that the products were marketed without undergoing testing to meet the demands of mass production.

While the CEO of MFeater Magazine has apologized for the video, Mielle Organics is yet to comment regarding their alleged involvement in the controversy.
