Noel Gallagher and British sunglasses company Finlay teamed up to release limited-edition shades on April 24, 2025. This new range has been named The Chiltern.

According to NME, a percentage of the proceeds from the sales of these sunglasses will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Finlay shared the news of the launch on Instagram, quoting Gallagher, who said:

“Well it’s in the manual isn’t it… It actually says in the rock star book ‘Thou shalt wear shades at all times, preferably indoors.”

According to Finlay’s official website, the brand and Noel Gallagher shared the belief that young people shouldn’t have to face cancer by themselves. To support this cause, they will donate 25% of each sale, including Noel’s royalties, to the Teenage Cancer Trust. The aim is to help the organization continue its important work with young cancer patients. Concerning The Chiltern, the brand notes:

“This refined frame combines a softened rectangular shape accented by a unique steel nose bridge, with adjustable nose pads. Handmade from sustainable Mazzucchelli acetate and featuring world-renowned ZEISS sun lenses for optimal clarity and full UVA/UVB protection.”

The website notes that the sunglasses are offered in three special colors that Noel Gallagher chose. Each pair included detailed metal logos, a foldable hard case, and a custom cleaning cloth designed based on the collaboration. The available colors are black, crystal, and pebble. The price for these sunglasses is listed as $260.

In 2024, Noel gave away a pair of Adidas Stan Smith shoes to be sold at an auction for the trust's ‘Star Boot Sale.’ He had signed these shoes by hand. His initials are also on the small piece of material at the back of the heel.

Looking back at Noel Gallagher and Gibson Guitar's previous collaboration for the Cancer Trust

Last year, Noel Gallagher partnered with Gibson guitars for a signed range of ’78 Les Paul Custom guitars. Proceeds from the sale of the 20 guitars will go to support Teenage Cancer Trust. According to a press release by the guitar company:

“The Noel Gallagher ’78 Les Paul Custom guitars are inspired by the guitar originally given to Noel by Johnny Marr that was used extensively for live performances and recording sessions with Oasis, most notably in the video for the 1994 hit single ‘Whatever.’”

Noel shared that the Les Paul Custom gifted to him by Johnny in 1994 had always been one of his favorite guitars because of its significance. He said the reissues closely matched the original in feel, and he was happy they were being sold to help support the Teenage Cancer Trust. Lee Bartram, an official from the guitar company, said:

“As Gibson continues the relationship with Noel Gallagher there is no better way to start 2024 than by supporting a truly amazing cause that is close to both our hearts and minds. We have worked closely with The Teenage Cancer Trust for many years, and it’s always an honor and privilege to support them in raising much needed funds and awareness for the work they do.”

Jane Ashton, Head of Music and Entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust, explained that the charity's connection to music began in 2000 with its well-known concert series at the Royal Albert Hall.

She said Noel Gallagher took part in that first event and had continuously supported young people with cancer as an ambassador for the charity ever since.
