Ahead of the launch of the all-female crew flight, the author-journalist appeared in a video with the Amazon founder and other team members. Sánchez modeled her Blue Origin spacesuit, which was also donned by others in the clip.

The all-women Blue Origin Space Flight NS-31 crew was captured together before the launch. The video featuring Lauren Sánchez and other team members in their spacesuits went instantly viral and garnered varying reactions from social media users.
“That’s it, ladies. No more settling for men who don’t fly you and your girlfriends to space,” a user wrote.
“When I have money, these are the type of things I want My Wife to be doing,” another user added.
“Guessing Elon has to rescue some chicks from space … Just another day,” someone referenced Sunita Williams’ in SpaceX Crew-9.

A user criticized Jeff Bezos on the merits of the space mission,

Blue Origin NS-31 is scheduled to launch with a six-member all-women team on Monday, April 14, at 09:30 am EST for an estimated 11-minute-long trip. Apart from Lauren Sánchez, the other members include Gayle King, Katy Perry, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn.

NS-31 will be the 11th crewed New Shepard (rocket) flight for Blue Origin. The space company launched its first-ever crewed flight in July 2021, with Jeff Bezos and three others aboard.
