On Wednesday, March 19, South Korean media Top Star News reported about YouTuber Lee Jin-ho’s latest revelations about Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron’s ongoing controversy.
According to the publication, Lee Jin-ho released a new video claiming that the deceased Kim Sae-Ron was clandestinely married and pregnant before her demise. He also released voice recordings revealing Sae-ron's marriage and abortion.
The latest video was added to Lee Jin-ho's YouTube channel, titled Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho. He asserted that the deceased actress resided in the United States with her purported husband and underwent an abortion.
Lee Jin-ho remarked that he wanted to correct the erroneous facts and present the information that Kim Sae-ron's family is concealing. He also called out the Garo Sero Research Institute, which first revealed Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron's relationship to the public.
“Previously, the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute claimed that according to what Kim Sae-ron told her family, Kim Soo-hyun told her to change her phone, delete KakaoTalk, and communicate via Telegram.”
Lee Jin-ho seemingly defended Sae-ron’s ex-boyfriend Kim Soo-hyun. The YouTuber journalist reported that Sae-Ron was married to another man in the United States and had a married life before her death.
“The bereaved family has been raising major issues about her ex-boyfriend Kim Soo-hyun from four years ago. But in reality, Kim Sae-ron was married to another man and living her newlywed life. Fact-checking confirmed that [around the time my videos were released about her,] Kim Sae Ron was in the U.S. at the time, with her husband.” Lee Jin-ho claimed.
Kim Sae-Ron was reportedly married to another man in the US
The Korean news website Naver reported that in January 2025, the Bloodhounds actress sparked marriage rumors by posting a series of photos on social media captioned "Marry." These images were deleted shortly after their upload.
To start her marriage, Sae-ron planned to move to New York the report claimed. Jin-ho also denied previous claims that Kim Soo-hyun forced Sae-ron to deactivate KakaoTalk and shift to Telegram. He stated that these demands were instead made by Sae-ron’s alleged new non-celebrity partner.
In the newly revealed voice recordings, the late Kim Sae-ron mentioned her boyfriend as she was talking to one of her staff members.
“My boyfriend has all of my KakaoTalk and Instagram accounts and manages them. I couldn’t do anything until I started using Telegram and texting a little. My boyfriend said, ‘I don’t know why you’re hiding your marriage,’ and we fought over it, and that’s when I ended up uploading that picture.” (via Google translate)
Further in her talk, when the late actress was questioned about her ex-boyfriend, Sae-ron replied that she had crossed up with him (allegedly Kim Soo-Hyun) when she went to South Korea due to some troubles with her company.
She explained that she wasn't planning to get married to her new boyfriend, but was coerced into doing so. She also supposedly underwent an abortion.
“While I was dating my current boyfriend, I happened to meet up with my ex while I was in Korea. There’s problems to do with the company and B, so he said that he would just help me out with the issues even though we were broken up. So when we met up then, we were already broken up. I told everything to my ex, and that I had a boyfriend, and we said goodbye like that. I was also not going to marry my current boyfriend, and was actually about to break up with him. But then, I suddenly got pregnant.”
In the recording, Sae-ron allegedly confessed to her abortion in front of her staff member.
“No, I got an abortion. But because of that, we ended up getting married.” Sae-ron told her staff member.
As of this writing, it’s not confirmed whether these recordings were of Kim Sae-Ron. Kim Sae-Ron reportedly lost her life to su*c*de on February 16, 2025.
