British YouTuber Joe Weller has called out Darren IShowSpeed for his behavior during the Sidemen Charity Match 2025. In a video posted on X, Joe said that Speed was acting weird and arrogant and seemed to have an issue with him. He also said that the Speed streamer arrived late, ignored multiple team rules, and made things all about himself, which was not acceptable to Joe.
Joe Weller also said that Speed even accused him of stealing Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous celebration after scoring a goal. The YouTuber did not hold back, saying that he actually did the Ronaldo celebration first on YouTube and even claimed he “paved the way” for Speed.
Joe Weller Criticizes IShowSpeed’s Behavior at the Match
Joe Weller said that IShowSpeed’s attitude during the charity game was straight-up disrespectful. He said that Speed acted as if he was “better than everyone” and even arrived 40 minutes late while wearing his own clothes instead of the team kit.
“It seemed like he had a bit of, I don’t know, an issue. Then I speak to a couple other of the lads, and they’re like, ‘Wait, what’s Speed’s problem?’ Like, Speed’s acting in a way that’s, like, a massive c**k, where he’s like arrogant and thinks he’s better than everyone.”
Joe also mentioned that Speed ignored him on purpose and even physically pushed past him:
“It seemed like everything he did was just like, ‘I’m better than everyone.’ And then, obviously, you know, his aura towards me even just in the morning. I’d like to think, I don’t know, he just doesn’t know me. So maybe he’s sort of the person that acts quite distant. But he would actively, like, show the barge past me.”
IShowSpeed Accuses Joe Weller of Stealing His Celebration
Another major moment Joe Weller talked about was his goal celebration. He claimed that after he scored, many people, including MrBeast, were friendly and supportive. But Speed, on the other hand, was not happy.
Joe Weller said,
“F*cking when I did the celebration and scored, then obviously at half-time, everyone else like MrBeast, who should be the most technically arrogant person there, was just, like, sound. Everyone, like, congratulating, being sound to each other. All he had to say is, 'You stole my celebration. You did my thing. F*ck you!'”
Joe then reminded everyone that he was one of the first YouTubers to do Ronaldo’s celebration:
“And it’s like, mate, hang on, rewind a few years, bro. We paved a way for you, f**king… I paved the way. Listen! See where I am going with this. All jokes aside, obviously, I did the Ronaldo thing first. I did the Ronaldo thing first on YouTube! I didn’t just steal his celebration, I like doing the Ronaldo stuff, too. Ronaldo is my favorite player.”
This heated exchange has now sparked debate among fans, with some defending Speed and others agreeing with Joe. With both being big names in the streaming industry, this controversy is not dying down anytime soon.
