The internet is in an uproar after the AI-generated Disney Actor Mount Rushmore image that went viral left out a fan favourite.

There is a new trend going around, the AI-generated Mount Rushmore, where people decide who they would put on their rendition of the iconic monument for a certain category and spark opinionated debates. For example, a few weeks back, the "streaming" Mount Ruahmore went viral, and fans crowned Adin Ross, IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat & RiceGum. Similarly, we have a Rappers Mount Rushmore, Rockstar Mount Rushmore and so on.

The recent "Rushmore" trend that has the internet in a topsy-turvy is the Disney Actor Mount Rushmore, featuring fan favourites, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Raven-Symone, and Zendaya, generated by Complex. Though the whole idea of a Mount Rushmore is quite subjective, there is one common actor that all of the internet agrees belongs there.

Though there is much discussion on who she should be replacing, one thing is for sure: all millennials and older Gen-Zs want to see Hilary Duff up there. Singer and actor Hilary had made quite an impact in this generation with her Disney career. Besides being the star in most of our favourite 2000s romcoms, she is most notably known for her brazen and lovable character, Lizzie McGuire.

Lizzie McGuire was every girl's go-to before Hannah Montana was a thing. The show ran from 2001 to 2004 for two seasons and even had a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) in 2003. The franchise followed Lizzie, who was a clumsy middle school girl with an overactive imagination, and how she trudged through puberty and high school.

But that was not all for her Disney Career as the Sparks singer also starred in another Disney Channel Original Movie, Cadet Kelly, which was a spunky coming-of-age movie about a determined young girl fighting her through as a cadet in a Military Academy. It was this influence that left fans feeling that Duff's legacy deserves better, amongst other unnamed Disney stars.

There has been a back-and-forth debate on who belongs to the Disney Actor Mount Rushmore and who doesn't ever since the image was dropped. Though most agree with the sentiment on Hilary being there, others have quite strong opinions, including creating their own versions of the AI-generated Rushmore.
