Model and social media influencer Brianna Stern went public with complaints against social media influencer Andrew Tate, accusing him of physically and emotionally abusing her when they dated. According to The Daily Wire, Stern has sued Tate, who has since become very popular in the public eye as well as in legal circles. According to the lawsuit, Tate first met model and influencer Stern in July 2024, when he was looking for models to help sell his cryptocurrency meme coin.
NBC reports that Stern has recounted a certain experience at the Beverly Hills Hotel where she was beaten and abused. She said to the outlet,
"I was scared to death. So scared I was terrified that I might die."
The experience, according to the lawsuit, was one of physical violence, and Stern was terrified for her life. The case is now part of a larger legal scenario involving Tate, who already faces charges in Romania and the United Kingdom.
Allegations and legal claims
Stern claims that Tate used physical force during their relationship. She has accused him in court documents lodged at Los Angeles County Superior Court of choking her until she nearly passed out and striking her multiple times. Here is her official statement:
The lawsuit also reports that Stern did not feel she could exit the scene at once and then saw a doctor later, who diagnosed her with post-concussion syndrome.
Furthermore, Stern claims that Tate also controlled her using verbal abuse by calling her his "property" and insulting her. According to The Daily Wire, Stern said,
"The last time I saw Andrew was on March 11, 2025 at the Beverly Hill’s Hotel. The last words he said to me before I left the hotel were: ‘Shut the f*** up, b****. You will never backtalk me. You are my property."
Her lawyers have created this as evidence of a pattern of conduct, they contend, that proves coercion and control.
Andrew Tate and legal response
Tate has denied all the allegations Stern has made. As per Independent, his lawyers have maintained that the lawsuit was an attempt to gain financial recompense and have characterized it as a "blatant cash grab." Tate’s lawyer, Joseph McBride, also said,
"We stand ready to defend Andrew fiercely in court, where the truth will expose this baseless scheme. Instead of seeking a private resolution, Ms Stern has chosen to air her false claims in the press, revealing her true motives: money and attention, not justice."
Tate still holds that the allegations are unfounded and maintains that he has done no act of assault or abuse.
The case against Tate is piling up on his existing legal troubles, as he is already facing prosecution on human trafficking-related charges among others in Romania. He has also faced independent inquiries in the United Kingdom, against which he protests.
Supporting evidence and public reaction
Stern is said to have posted photos online that she said demonstrate injuries caused by the reported attack. Her legal team indicated that these images corroborate her allegations and lend credibility to assertions made in her lawsuit.
Reactions from the public have been mixed, with others voicing their support for Stern's choice of revealing his truth, while some remain doubtful. The case has generated debate concerning power relationships within relationships and how the legal procedure in dealing with such claims goes about it.
Brianna Stern's accusations against Andrew Tate have resulted in serious allegations that are currently being litigated in court. Though Tate has countered all claims, the suit continues, and the case remains closely followed by legal professionals as well as the general public.
