Joe Rogan took to X on March 8, 2025, to address a viral chat between Kanye West and a person masquerading as himself. On March 7, 2025, the Famous hitmaker shared a screenshot of a chat between himself and a person whom he believed to be Joe Rogan.

The chat between West and the imposter read:

Fake Rogan: "I love the look of it! The natural and simple look of the studio is very future. I would love to sit down and speak with you but I am honestly a bit uncomfortable with your latest tweets. Is there a way we can clear the air on some of this when we sit down?"
West: "That’s what the idea would be. And yes, I’m happy to know that the tweets make you uncomfortable."

The controversial rapper captioned the screenshot:

“YE/ JOE ROGAN COUNTDOWN TO LIVE INTERVIEW.”

Kanye’s tweet got the internet excited about the prospect of the rapper appearing on the popular podcast. Rogan addressed the screenshot:

“Hey @kanyewest, I don’t know who you’re talking to but that’s not me.”

Kanye West has deleted the tweet of the chat. He has had a similar experience with a dishonest fan acting as rapper Baby Keem.
