However, Akademiks did not mention any names, but it was made to sound like Playboi Carti was one of them. This assumption is taken because DJ Vlad mentioned the Rubi Rose No Jumper interview, where she discussed her relationship with Carti.

The interview between Adam and Rubi Rose started off with introductions. He asked her where she's from, and Rubi responded by explaining how she has moved a lot and is currently in Atlanta. At the time of the interview, Rubi is a senior at her college, Georgia State.

She explained that this was when he was signed with Awful Records. Adam interjected that this was when Carti was still not too popular and underground. He continues by saying,

"You're 21 now... yeah, whatever" Adam stated.

To which Rubi immediately responded,

"Yeah, he's young too. He's only like 22, 23" - Rubi Rose answered.

She then elaborates that they did not start dating until a year after they had known each other, even though Playboi Carti started flirting with her before that.

The insinuation that DJ Akademiks threw out, saying that Playboi Carti and Rubi were dating and involved in s*xual activities when she was underage, may or may not hold true since there is just a year or two age difference between the two rappers.
