Pamela Bach, American actress and ex-wife of actor David Hasselhoff, was found dead in her home in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 5. The coroner's report ruled that the death was suicide from a gunshot wound to the head.

According to Hasselhoff's representative, the following statement was made.

Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."

The actress was originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and had her breakout debut role in Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish (1983) also starring Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, and Diane Lane. Since then, she has had a colorful career with coveted roles in films and shows such as Appointment with Fear, Route 66, Castle Rock, Fall Guy, Cheers, Baywatch Night, and so on.

Pamela's representative, Sharon Kelly also told TMZ,

My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a 'Proud Mama'!

At the time of the divorce, Bach told the Associated Press,

I’ve always loved him and always will, and have love and compassion for him. It’s a very, very sad day, but a day to move on.

The actress was often seen dotting on her family through her Instagram posts. One of her recent posts featured her posing in front of a Christmas tree with her daughters and granddaughter. In fact, months before the actress' reported suicide, she was basking at becoming a first-time grandmother, taking to Instagram and captioning her post as,

As we step into 2025, my heart is full of gratitude, especially for my precious grandbaby, London. Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing.

She lives through her two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, whom she shares with Hasselhoff.
