DJ Akademiks has retaliated after talent manager YezJulz's comments on him not doing his job well. After Akademiks learned about her statement, he shared his reaction during his online stream. He said:
“F*cking wh*re YeJulz even trying to talk to me. B*tch you spent half your f*cking life on your knees. Get your back blown out s*cking c*ck guzzling f*cking s*men, you f*cking wh*re. How dare you talk to me? You done s*cked up half the industry talking about big act. You f*cking wh*re.”
He continued:
“I don’t wanna hear nothing from the wh*re today bro. Sit your wh*re a**up. Get some Listerine. F*cking c*ck s*cking b*tch. It’s d*ck s*cking time. We will call you.”
DJ Akademiks repeated her comment about him not recognizing producer F1LTHY, aka Richard Ortiz. He then launched an explicit rant, accusing her of being overly involved with people in the music industry, including studio staff, executives, athletes, and producers. YezJulz seemingly responded to his comments through a series of X posts. In one post, she wrote:
“Bro bout to pop a blood vessel.”
YesJulz seemingly dismissed DJ Akademiks' comments in an X post, saying she doesn’t argue with "incels" and hinted that she had a response planned for him. She later called him a gossip blogger rather than someone who truly listens to music.
In another post, she questioned his credibility, pointing out that he doesn't even know the producers behind his favorite artists. She found it disrespectful that he would dismiss someone’s opinion because he wasn’t familiar with them.
Mocking him further, YesJulz suggested he might be better suited for a job at Subway. She also took a jab at his reliance on the streaming platform Rumble, implying that he lacks the skills to sustain himself if the platform shuts down.
The backstory behind DJ Akademiks’ explosive X rant
It all started with the streamer's claims about Playboi Carti’s latest album I AM Music made in collaboration with artists like Travis Scott, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and others. DJ Akademiks, in one of his streams, alleged that Lamar was the creative director behind the albums. However, F1LTHY clarified on X that Lamar wasn’t the creative director.
During an online stream, Akademiks addressed the situation, clarifying that he meant no offense to F1LTHY but admitted he had no idea who they were. He emphasized that Kendrick Lamar was involved in the album in some capacity, whether as a creative director or executive producer.
DJ Akademiks stated that he was repeating what Carti had told him. YesJulz reposted a clip from his stream on X with the caption:
“Not knowing F1lthy is one of Carti’s main collaborators in 2025 as a journalist covering hiphop is surely one way to admit you suck at your job.”
DJ Akademiks responded to F1LTHY’s post on X, insisting that the focus should be on Playboi Carti but also emphasizing that Kendrick Lamar played a role in the album’s creation.
He suggested Lamar’s involvement was a key reason for the album’s midnight release. Akademiks also expressed his eagerness to listen to the music, wishing he wasn’t streaming at that moment.
