Skai Jackson is slamming all the trolls who are questioning her newborn baby boy's skin color.
In videos circulating on Instagram, the actress called out all folks who called her son “pale” and “too white.” She quickly schooled the trolls on how melanin takes a while to start coming in, noting that some babies are born light-skinned, and that a "newborn’s skin color shouldn’t concern anyone.”
Users have since begun siding with her online, with many pointing out that what she's saying is right. Here's what one user penned on Instagram, for example:

"He's a newborn for goodness sake!"
Even more chimed in to echo the sentiments:

"All of the 125k positive comments you choose the 1k negative ones to address🤦🏾♀️," one user chimed in.
"Y’all worried about her baby when the department of education just got knocked down…whoa Chile," another pointed out.
"I wouldn’t even explain myself to nobody this my BABY!" someone else exclaimed.
The comments didn't end there:

"Yall act like the daddy not light with dam freckles 🤨," one user penned.
"I meannnnn what color did people think the baby would be … look at the father’s skin complexion! Some of yall are slow …. 😂," another pointed out.
"Y’all leave this lady and her child alone," yet another stated.
Here's what the rest of the comments section is saying:

"Being famous ain’t worth it having to do all this," someone chimed in.
"Man what is wrong with people man a baby smh that’s crazy to say," another stated.
Scores online also pointed out that the baby's father has a light skin tone, asserting that it makes sense that Skai Jackson's baby would also be of a similar color. A large number of users, however, did slam the trolls for bringing up a baby's skin tone in the first place.
Skai Jackson says speaking about her newborn son is off-limits
In her video on Instagram, the Disney Channel alum said:
“Just because a baby is [a] month, two months, even three months… that does not mean the melanin has fully kicked in. Two, some babies are just light-skinned, which is okay!”
The 22-year-old went on, noting that “a newborn’s skin color shouldn’t concern anyone.” She called it “the dumbest thing she’s seen,” revealing that this is largely why she refuses to post her baby's face on the internet, adding that she “won’t be posting him” from now.
She also added that while she doesn't care what the internet says about her, it's mean to talk about her son:
“I think y’all need to stop making comments about people’s children because it’s not cool at all and y’all wouldn’t like if somebody did it to you!” Jackson added.
Skai Jackson welcomed her son, Kasai, in January. The Jessie actress shares her son with her boyfriend, Deondre Burgin, who also goes by "Yerkky Yerkky."
