The shooter reportedly entered Boosie Badazz’s show through a blind spot

After the incident, off-duty officers providing security at the event requested backup shortly after 2:00 a.m. local time. Two men, aged 18 and 36, suffered gunshot wounds and were hospitalized in critical condition.

As mentioned by Deputy Chief Michael Miller, an incident took place while Boosie Badazz was performing on stage. He suspected the shooter entered through a blind spot or side door, bypassing security at the main entrance, where attendees are typically scanned and patted down.

The suspect escaped the venue. Two shell casings were recovered from the incident scene. FieldHouse Lounge shared a statement on its Instagram page writing:

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that took place at our establishment last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this event.”

The post continued:

“To our loyal customers and supporters, we sincerely apologize for the fear and distress this incident has caused. The safety and well-being of our guests are always our top priority, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to prevent something like this from ever happening again.”

Boosie Badazz has unfortunately had similar incidents at his concerts in the past. In August 2024, two men lost their lives during a performance in Pacific Junction, Iowa, though he distanced himself from the situation.

He was also linked to a 2006 shooting where five people were injured at a concert he shared with Plies. However, Boosie later clarified there was no feud between them, despite rumors suggesting otherwise.
