Rapper Kanye West has shared multiple X posts since March 18, 2025, targeting Jay-Z and Beyonce. Yesterday, he alleged that Beyonce used ART to have Rumi and Sir Carter and questioned their cognitive development in a post on X. The post was later taken down but then reposted on March 19, 2025, with a disclaimer added:

“Wait has anyone ever seen Jay Z and Beyonces younger kids theyre ret**ded no like literally and this is why artificial insemination is such a blessing having ret**ded children is a choice. If twitter take my sh*t down them so be it but I need yall to no Jay Z or nobody have no power over me.”

Kanye West shared another post writing:

“The only thing that I was mad about in the last few hours was taking that Jay Z and Beyoncé tweet down Dame Dash signed me btw not Jay Z.”

In his most recent post at the time of writing the story, he addressed the removed tweet about Jay-Z and Beyoncé, stating that he didn’t regret posting it but regretted taking it down. He also claimed that his Twitter (now X) account was a one-way conversation.

Kanye West said he was frustrated, saying no celebrities had supported him when he faced issues regarding his children. He suggested their silence was due to his support for Trump and then made derogatory remarks about Jay, his family, and associates. In a 2018 interview, TV host David Letterman asked Jay-Z what he thought about Kanye West. The record executive replied:

“That’s my brother. We are beyond friends, really like literally my little brother is Kanye.”

Looking back at what Kanye West and Jay-Z said about each other in the past

During an interview with Charlamagne in 2018, West shared that he was upset when Jay-Z and Beyoncé didn’t attend his 2014 wedding in Italy. He acknowledged that they may have been dealing with personal matters but felt that family should always show up for such important moments.

Although he insisted he wasn’t trying to be negative, he admitted the situation left him wondering why they didn’t come. Looking back, he said he had moved on but was hurt. However, he never directly asked Jay about his absence. In a 2017 interview with the New York Times, Jay-Z said:

“I [talked to] Kanye the other day, just to tell him, like, he's my brother. I love Kanye. I do. It's a complicated relationship with us.”

When asked why it was complicated, Jay-Z explained that Kanye West started his career under his label, and he has always seen him as a younger brother. Since they’re both in the entertainment industry, there has always been a bit of friendly competition.

He added that they have mutual respect for work, and both strive to be the best in their field. While other factors have influenced their dynamic, he believes that, in the end, they will always be on good terms.

In 2016, Kanye West publicly called out Jay during a concert, asking him to reach out and even making a cryptic comment about Jay-Z’s alleged influence. Despite their past issues, West said their relationship was in a good place, noting that they were in touch through messages, even though they hadn’t met in person.
