In a brand-new commercial, McDonald's reportedly revealed celebrity breakfast orders after the Oscars, to which fans hilariously reacted.

A genius and hilarious marketing campaign, McDonald's just released the orders of Oscar attendees the day after Hollywood's favourite night of celebration, making it the perfect hearty breakfast after a long, fun night filled with scintillating stars and memorable performances.

Through social media activity on Instagram and YouTube, the fast food chain released a short yet impactful campaign showcasing what Hollywood stars like for their McDonald's breakfast.

The 30-second video and an Instagram carousel post showed us a mix of classic and intriguing meals of a few celebrities, including some Oscar nominees. The orders included Colman Domingo, Teyana Taylor, Rosalia, Adele Dazeem (Idina Menzel), Edgar Ramirez, Kieran Culkin, Keke Palmer, Julia Fox, Michael B. Jordan, and Jackie Chan.

The video concludes with a single tagline,

There's only one meal Hollywood relies on.

What did the stars eat for breakfast at McDonald's?

The breakfast orders teetered from "Yes, I can have this every day" to absolutely bizarre.

While Jackie Chan went with a classic meal of sausage, egg, cheese McGriddle, coffee and apple pie, Oscar winner Kieran Culkin cooled off with just a small coke. Coleman Domingo started off strong with the Egg McMuffin Meal (which comes with hash browns and a coffee) with strawberry jelly and ketchup, a bottle of water and on the side, a Strawberry Banana Smoothie.

Singer Rosalia packed a punch with a Mango pineapple smoothie, along with a bacon, egg, cheese McGriddle, and some Mayo.

But what left us truly gagged was fashion icon Julia Fox with her order of Hot Chocolate with whipped cream, three chocolate chip cookies and hotcakes with not one, not two, not three but ten servings of syrup.

Fan reaction to these orders

Fans loved the idea, deeming it the "best supporting meal".

They took it on the internet to hilariously criticize some of the meals.

How much syrup does Julia need- one user questioned.
While another couldn't understand,- Bro drinking coca-cola in the morning
Even Oscar winners need a McMuffin to recover from the afterparty,- another netizen stated.
Fans also clapped back at McD,- just outing them
Another commented,- Really putting them on blast, huh

One user asked a question that left us all questioning our own choices.

If you had to steal someone's order, who are you taking?

The fast-food giant has been known for hitting the nail on the head when it comes to marketing campaigns with cultural significance, especially celebrity marketing. From their BTS meal to The “Famous Orders” campaign with Kim Kardashian and Patrick Mahomes during the 2020 Super Bowl. Similar to this, the Oscar orders are a nostalgic and simple campaign to draw in the consumer and share a bit of insight into the lives of people we watch each day.

All in all, a breakfast meal sounds ideal after a night of partying, sharing wins and losses, and singing your favourite songs. It's also the perfect way to end the Oscar season.
