Dwayne Johnson has officially made it onto Forbes' list of highest-paid actors, joining the ranks of Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Hart, and others.

The list takes into consideration all acting deals, endorsements, and other contracts. Johnson dominates the rankings, with his earnings reaching $88 million ($103 million gross). According to the website, one of his agents described his earnings as "an ungodly amount of money."

News of this has already spread on X, sparking mixed reactions. While some criticized the actor, arguing that he has no place in cinema, others praised him for successfully navigating his career.

Scores online echoed the sentiments, though a good chunk also felt proud of him:

"Dwayne Johnson is a LEGEND," someone opined.
"it’s crazy how one of the worst actors get paid the most," another claimed.
"deserved for moana alone," one other fan penned.
"Dwayne Johnson made $88 million in 2024, meanwhile, some people are still waiting for "I’ll think about it" after a job interview," an X user quipped.

Even more chimed in on the ongoing discourse:

"Imagine how much money he could have made if he made good movies. It's impossibly to imagine but just try," someone online dissed.
"Plays the same person every movie besides Moana," one more pointed out.
"Well...if you make 88 cheap movies a year then i guess you can reach that number...also i dont think i ever saw a movie with him...except that misterious island thing...which only caught my attention because of Vanessa Hudgens..." another X user echoed.
"Not a great actor but do enjoy some of his films," yet another added.

The reactions were visibly divided, with many questioning his acting skills while others praised his financial success.

Everything we know about Dwayne Johnson's earnings:

Dwayne Johnson, the iconic wrestler-turned-actor, reportedly made most of his earnings from his deal with Netflix for the action-comedy Red One. However, Forbes states that a significant portion of his income also came from Moana 2, which came out at the end of last year.

Coming in second on the list is Ryan Reynolds, with $85 million ($100 million gross), according to Forbes' official ranking. The two actors previously worked together on Red Notice, but Reynolds’ fortune is largely attributed to his role as lead producer, co-writer, and star of the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine.

According to the outlet, his documentary Welcome to Wrexham and his family film IF also contributed significantly to his wealth. As for comedians Kevin Hart and Jerry Seinfeld, Hart boasts earnings of $81 million ($108 million gross), while Seinfeld comes in with $60 million ($70 million gross).

Others on Forbes' list include veteran actors Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Adam Sandler, and Will Smith, among others. Joaquin Phoenix rounds out the list at No. 20, with earnings of $19 million ($22 million gross).
