Fans applaud online streamer xQc after he defends Adin Ross from HasanAbi who expressed his displeasure on him being unbanned:

“Always got his back!”

In his recent stream, Félix Lengyel, better known by his screen tag xQc, defended Adin Ross after other streamers, including HasanAbi, who was on the stream, talked about their displeasure with his unban.

Adin Ross is a highly popular streamer and is widely recognized for his "Just Chatting" sessions, where he engages with high-profile guests—some of whom spark controversy—such as President Donald Trump and Andrew Tate.

In 2023, Ross was banned from Twitch after failing to moderate his chat, allegedly allowing offensive behavior, including racist and antisemitic remarks, to go unchecked. Despite finding success on Kick, an alternative streaming platform where he has amassed a significant audience, he was seemingly still eager to return to Twitch.

The streamer was unbanned after his 2-year permaban, and though there were other industry professionals like FaZe Adapt, who were eager and overjoyed by the news, some streamers, such as HasanAbi, were left soured. To defend Adin, fellow streamer xQc, who is a Canadian online streamer and former professional Overwatch player, speaks out, stating that there are people who get banned for the most outrageous acts but never perma-banned.

This is not the first time the two streamers have butted heads, as Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker was banned for 24 hours on Twitch in March 2025. The reason is speculated to be related to his remarks about U.S. Senator Rick Scott. After his reinstatement, Felix posted a cryptic message saying:

"Maybe you are the one who stepped in the sh*t or maybe, you are the piece of sh*t."

Though it wasn't confirmed, fans quickly thought it was a jab towards Hasan, who didn't hold back and, in his stream, retaliated by saying:

"He has actively treated every single content creator in his orbit like s**t, no matter how nice people have been to him."

Fans react to xQc defending Ross

Fans called Felix a "real one" for coming to Adin's defence, as they didn't understand where this hate was coming from.

"Why everyone is Hatin on on Adin Ross?"- one user said.
Another commented,- "xqc always been a real one w xqc."
While one user also commented,- "Man Hasan is such a hater man. Anyone who’s not a far left lunatic like he is he doesn’t like and wants off Twitch."

Felix has amassed 12 million followers and before Overwatch, he played League of Legends and Starcraft games, making him an e-sports professional.
