Adam22, the "No Jumper" podcast's mastermind and show presenter, has recently spoken out about his ailing media brand, which is now going through trying financial times. In response to the situation, the enterprise has laid off many of the employees and shifted to a smaller operational scale.
This revelation was made public with an ongoing lawsuit in the backdrop. The latter was not only further depreciating the value of the company, but the lawsuit itself was brought on by a former employee.

Did you hear about No Jumper's Money Crisis?
Adam John Grandmaison, who is also known as Adam22, revealed that No Jumper is around $2,000,000 behind every month. This recession in the financial sector ignited a situation where nearly 15 employees were let go in a sudden rush, which was a difficult time for the company.
Pulling the rug from under No Jumper's feet was mainly due to their Instagram shutting down. The action came as an unprecedented turn after the platform had been a major source of income for nearly ten years through the sponsored posts.
"First we lost the No Jumper Instagram. After almost 10 years of building it up and essentially no strikes on our account, we got taken down one day, and we still have absolutely no idea why," Adam said.
With this source gone, No Jumper was facing financial losses of a very big margin, and, as a result, it was not easy to maintain the same number of staff and the expenses of production.

But the litigation issues are not over
In addition to the company being stretched financially, No Jumper is also facing a legal battle with a former worker who has sued it.
The worker has come up with a list of accusations against the management, so much so that Adam22 has branded them as an effort to blackmail him. Despite this, the case alone has devoured the company funds, as much as hundreds of thousands of dollars, which has in turn aggravated the pecuniary troubles of the company.
"It's insane to me that a person that we did so much for can just invent some grievances out of thin air and cost us this much money. As a result, this person has literally lost every single friend that he used to have when he worked at No Jumper." - Adam said.

Reducing costs
To make sure the company stayed in business, Adam22 implemented some severe cost-cutting measures. Recently, No Jumper closed its Melrose store. It was a decision that had to be made to cut expenses. Furthermore, the company is thinking of moving to a smaller place to save even more.
Adam22 mentioned that he should have followed the previous advice on how to manage his financial resources. He recalled DJ Vlad’s opinion on the importance of a frugal budget and confessed to not being grave about the situation, which later led him to suffer from a financial crisis.

What does this mean for No Jumper in the future?
In the face of the challenges, No Jumper is the project of Adam22 that he is sticking with- maybe a lighter and more directed version of it, but still the same.
"To be honest, aside from the lay-offs, I'm pretty happy about all those changes.. I'm confident that once we get the building sold, we will be in a pretty solid financial position again as a business," Adam added.
He has suggested that by not having as many costs as before and rethinking the business model, the brand might still be able to get through and stabilize in the long term. Although, as time will tell, the way forward is still unsure, and the next episode of the podcast remains a mystery.
While the fan base and the people from the industry are observing the development of the matter, the creator of No Jumper’s openness over his website’s situation has sparked off a public conversation about the feasibility of the independent media sector.
