Brenda Song was mic'd up for the Los Angeles Lakers vs the Minnesota Timberwolves game during the NBA playoffs.

Actress Brenda Song, along with her fiancé Macaulay Culkin, attended the latest Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves game. But this game was a little different for the actress who loudly shares her love for the sport. Brenda, who is a spirited sports lover, is a "die-hard fan" of the L.A. franchise. She has often said she bleeds purple and gold (the official colors of the Lakers team), contradicting the fact that she grew up in a household full of Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls fans.

To surprise the megafan, the franchise gifted Brenda Song and her partner custom Lakers jerseys when they attended the second game of the series. But that was not all that they did. The franchise also boldly decided to mic up the Disney actress for the game. And we say bold because she did not hold back. Brenda took the opportunity to cheer and support her team as well as express her grievances when the team lost a point or was in a delicate situation.

The mic caught up hilarious comments from her including,

"C'mon Lebron, smack this boy outta here"
"Plant yo feet"
"Set a proper pick, thank you!"
"C'mon Vincent, C'mon Gabe"
"EVERY POSSESSION MATTERS"

Song recently acted in the Netflix series Running Point, which is about a reformed businesswoman who is put in charge of her family's pro basketball team, alongside Kate Hudson, perfect for Brenda and her love for football.

But that's not all, as Brenda Song has also talked about how much she loves the LA Rams, a football team. During a recent interview with “Mythical Kitchen," she flaunted her football knowledge and talked about the technicalities of her favourite team.

“Let me tell you, Chris Shula (the Rams’ defensive coordinator), I like you a lot. I like what you’ve done with our front four. But my issue is: We don’t have a run-stopper. We don’t use our middle linebackers in the middle. We can’t stop the run,” she said.
She continued, “Let’s talk about Mike LaFleur, our OC, about our O-line and why Jalen Carter sacked Matthew Stafford. The Philadelphia score should have been 28-29 and the Rams should have been — we would have murdered the Commanders. Sorry, Jayden Daniels, but we would have been in the Super Bowl.”

Fans react to Brenda Song's reactions

Fans were impressed with Brenda Song's dedication to the sport and how real her reactions were. They also noted how hilariously different the couple was from each other. While Brenda was cheering as loudly as she could, Macaulay quietly let her have her moment and was calmly cheering on beside her.

"Macaulay Culkin looks like he’s never touched a sport in his life but is excited to support his wife’s interests," one fan said.
Another hilariously commented, "Somebody needs to tell me what a push off is. And explain it to me like I’m London Tipton," referring to the actress's Disney character.
To which a user responded, "Imagine you’re about to buy the last pair of shoes and someone gets in front of you. So you push them out the way. But instead of using your hand - you use your purse so it’s like obviously not an accident or natural reflex."
One user also stated, "Macaulay is there to make sure Brenda doesn't end up on the court."
Another expressed, "ICONIC. London Tipton would’ve bought the whole stadium just for better seats lol. Love her"
While one netizen also commented, "Love this! The dynamics between those two are incredible! I hope their marriage and family thrives!"

The couple first got engaged in 2022 and have been blissfully living their long engagement. Brenda Song and Culkin both grew up in the spotlight and have gained their fame through their childhood roles. They first met in 2014 at a mutual friend, Seth Green's, house, but they didn't hit it off till 2017. They welcomed a son in 2021, and a source stated,

"Macaulay and Brenda have loved being together as a family since welcoming Dakota. The engagement is the natural next step for them. They are excited for their future together."

And two years later, they welcomed their second child.

Fans are rooting for Brenda Song to make more appearances and get season tickets all the time, especially being a regular at the games.

"The Lakers organization should give them tix for the remainder of the season."
