Singer and actress Halle Bailey and DDG are reportedly experiencing co-parenting difficulties with their son, Halo. The ongoing tensions can be traced back to their breakup early in October 2024. DDG took to his YouTube stream on March 9 to share that Halle has allegedly been keeping him from meeting their son.

Titled as "My Final Thoughts On The Halo Situation," DDG revealed he doesn't want it to come to the point that Halo is unable to see his father.

While DDG has been persistent and public about the co-parenting tensions, Halle has been relatively private. The Little Mermaid actress shared a picture of herself pouting and wearing her headphones. She captioned the image with happy emojis and wrote,

"because I'm happy."

Users took to the post's comment section, with many bringing up her current discourse with DDG. One user (@ricardo_o4) defended DDG and noted,

"but ddg cant be? crazy."

Another user (@chaejinsok) took a dig at DDG's name and wrote,

"oh don’t end doo doo garbage like that!"

Another netizen (@arianaunext) added,

"Clap along if you know that ddg is a deadbeat!"

"Why is people being mean to this girl. Love you halle, we are happy that your happy, glad to see that your well."

One user (@NuJhahyne) noted that the comment section had mixed responses from others and wrote,

Some users expressed curiosity about new music. One user (@NuJhahyne) wrote,

"girl new music when???"

Halle Bailey recently revealed she had taken a break from social media since she and her son Halo were down with "RSV." The Little Mermaid actress appears to be getting active again, as she took to her X to note that she was feeling "happy".

Halle Bailey's photo comes a couple of days after DDG put up the "final thought" on his co-parenting situation. The latter revealed his reasons for being unable to avoid court.

Amid the tension, DDG has also released Don't Take My Son as a way to vent his emotions and thoughts. While information about the legal visitation isn't clear, fans have been left speculating and, as a consequence, taking sides of the artists.

Users took to Halle Bailey's post on X, with many users applauding Halle for parenting Halo, while others appeared to support DDG. Halle has not made any official comments about DDG's YouTube videos about their son. Halle last released her single, Back and Forth, in February. While fans await new music, Halle has yet to make any announcements.
