Actors Laura Prepon and Ben Foster have reportedly settled their divorce and executed the same on April 14, 2025. Filed on September 9, 2024, the couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for parting ways. According to an exclusive report by In Touch, Prepon will be the custodian of the two children.
The divorce settlement also brought to light the monthly income of the former couple. As per the media outlet, Ben Foster and Laura Prepon’s monthly income is $70,509.92 and $22,205.50, respectively. Meanwhile, according to Celebrity Net Worth, both Prepon and Foster have the same net worth, which is $12 million.
As per the conditions of the divorce, the children will stay with Laura Prepon for 227 days of the year and with Ben for the remaining 138 days. They decided to share custody during the week and agreed to stay flexible with parenting time because of their jobs.
Both agreed their children would attend private school, and they would split the tuition and other school-related costs. Ben Foster's contribution for child support is $5,500 per month.
Although things got tense between them, Laura Prepon accused Ben of having a drinking problem, while he claimed she behaved inappropriately during their marriage. They planned to sell their Nashville home, which had been listed for $4 million.
From the sale, Laura was set to receive nearly $978,000. Each would keep any bank accounts, investments, or crypto in their names. Ben and Laura will have complete control over their respective businesses.

Speaking to Drew Barrymore in 2021, Prepon was asked about her Mother’s Day plans. Laura Prepon shared that her idea of a perfect day was going to the park on a sunny day and spending time together. She mentioned it might include a little wine, depending on the time.
When Drew Barrymore asked if she had a one-year-old, Prepon said she did. Her son was born in February 2020, just before the pandemic hit. Not long after, her book You & I, as Mothers was released in April 2020, and she had to do an online press tour while adjusting to life with a newborn.
Between promoting her book, bonding with her son, and spending time with her husband and daughter, she said that period felt very surreal, saying:
“But what was great was it was a lot easier for me to run up and feed my baby and then run back and get an interview or go back up and, you know, be with my family or, you know prepare food quickly for my daughter or whatever it was, being able to be so close at that time really, really helped.”
Laura Prepon talked about how things changed for her after her daughter was born. She usually didn’t deal with anxiety and had always taken risks without much fear, like riding motorcycles or climbing mountains. However, becoming a mother made her feel a new kind of stress.
She described it as feeling like her heart was outside her body, and she didn’t know how to keep her baby safe. That fear and pressure of protecting her child was overwhelming, and it was something she struggled with a lot during that time.
