Khloé Kardashian is set to launch her new Khloud Protein Popcorn: All you need to know

On Tuesday, April 22, 2024, the 40-year-old American socialite Khloé Kardashian made an announcement on social media about the debut of her new brand, Khloud.

The brand, which focuses on the production of healthy snacks, officially announced its launch with a variety of protein-based popcorn, which will be available on April 29, 2025.

In an email Khloé Kardashian sent to the New York-based trade journal Women’s Wear Daily, she shared insights on the developments she has planned for the soon-to-be-launched snack company.

“We’re are starting with popcorn, but it’s just the beginning. We plan to expand into other key snacking categories across the store- there’s so much space to reimagine everyday snacks,” she said.

The Khloud protein popcorn would be available in only three varieties of flavours, including sweet & salty kettle corn, white cheddar, and olive oil & sea salt flavours.

With the aim of providing a healthy yet functional snack, a total of seven grams of protein extracted from highly nutritious milk-based protein isolate can be obtained per serving. According to the brand, protein popcorn does not contain seed oils and is free from gluten.

Khloé Kardashian has also announced a collab with molecular biologist Chandra Richter, who has been appointed as the brand’s head of innovation due to her level of expertise in the beverage and food industry.

Following Richter’s recent appointment, she shared more information on the upcoming project in a media briefing with WWD. Her statement reads:

“Protein is one of the most critical dietary needs because it supports energy, satiety, and overall wellness, but it’s often the hardest to grab on the go. Khloud was designed to help fill that gap. It delivers a meaningful boost of protein in a fun, familiar way with popcorn and without all the additives or heaviness of other protein snacks. It’s portable, satisfying and clean, so it fits seamlessly into real life without sacrificing taste or quality.”

Also, in an interview with Food & Wine, the mother of two explained the inspiration behind her newly established brand Khloud.

“To me, snacks should be easy and delicious, and you should feel good about sharing them with family and friends. That’s what inspired Khloud. I don’t want it to feel like your typical ‘protein snack,’ I wanted something that tasted amazing, was easy and convenient, and was made with real, non-GMO ingredients,” Khloé Kardashian said.

On April 29, Kloé Kardashian’s Khloud protein popcorn will be available for purchase within the US via Khloudfoods official website and Target.
