Kai Cenat’s Twitch account has been restored after it was banned following a hack attack. On April 3, 2025, Twitch's fourth most followed streamer’s account was compromised, with the hacker replacing Cenat’s display image with a banner bearing the name “sava.”
The channel name was also changed to “savawuzhere.” The hack also affected the streamer’s YouTube account. The incident led to widespread discussions on the possibility of hacking one of the biggest accounts on Twitch.
The account was briefly banned to prevent further misuse. The account was restored after two days of suspension on April 5, 2025. Some netizens criticized the platform’s security measures.
More details on Kai Cenat’s Twitch account hacking incident
On April 3, 2025, news of Cenat’s Twitch account being hacked began circulating the internet. Netizens and followers noticed that the profile photo and banner image bore an unrecognized name.
The hacker subsequently changed Cenat’s account username to “savawuzhere.” The hacker also reportedly revealed Cenat’s earnings. @kick_Champ on X posted on X with the caption "Kai Cenat's hacker just LEAKED his revenue and expenses” and shared a screenshot purported to be the streamer’s financial statement.
The hacker changed the handle of his YouTube channel and uploaded random videos and memes there. Twitch, to prevent further mishaps, suspended the account temporarily. Upon the restoration of the compromised account, it was revealed that Cenat had lost almost 6 million followers.
However, the streamer seems to be gaining back his followers at an impressive rate. When asked about how he felt about the hacking situation, the star streamer seemed unperturbed and stated:
"What, I'm hacked? N***a, what am I supposed to cry? (Laughs) The f**k, n***a, that's life,"
He added:
"Yeah! Bro, yeah, bro, I don't give a f**k. N***a, what am I supposed to do? Cry? The f**k? "That sh** all going to come back in the morning... No, no, don't show attention to it."
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time a hacker has taken over Cenat’s social media account. In February 2025, Kai Cenat’s TikTok account, with over 17 million followers, was hacked. The breach resulted in the account losing more than 130 million likes, which have since been restored.
Fans and media have speculated that “Sava” is also behind the February incident, citing a resemblance to the logos used by the hacker.
