YouTuber and online streamer Kai Cenat's Twitch account was hacked early morning at 2 AM EST on Thursday, April 3. The account's name was briefly changed to 'Sawawuzhere' before it was reverted to the original account name. According to the Tribune, the account was temporarily banned by Twitch to prevent misuse. Although the account was restored, the hacker had made changes to Cenat's accounts.

X user @BestfriendKick shared screenshots of Cenat's hacked account, with a change in profile image and description. The display image shows a logo, titled, SAVA, and the description includes a discord link, 'Discord.gg/namesnipes.' While the motive of the hacker is unclear, they added in the description,

"Got my discord suspended Mr. Cenat, this is what you get."

Shortly after, Cenat's YouTube channel was hacked with over 7 million subscribers approximately an hour and a half later. The hacker deleted Cenat's content and replaced it with random videos featuring memes.

Kai Cenat's Twitch and YouTube get hacked: What will happen to his accounts?

Kai Cenat is the fourth most followed Internet Personality on the streaming giant, Twitch. This marks the second time his socials were targeted, reportedly following the hacking of his TikTok in February 2025. It is unclear if the hacking was done by the same individual/group. Cenat hasn't officially responded to the situation, and it is unclear which measures are being taken to retrieve ownership of the account. While fans are assuming that there may be a link to the hacking, no official evidence has been provided.

According to the Sun, Cenat's account has previously feared bans after his account came under fire for a trick performed by magician Max Major. The clip revealed Cenat's shock after Max was left hanging in the air on a noose as part of the "trick."

Kai Cenat's fans expressed visible concern for the streamer after all his content on Twitch was deleted. Netizens took to Fear Buck's post on X and wondered what the hacker's motives were. One user (@amyknowsballs) wrote,

"Work so hard to build something only to have it possibly torn down in minutes hope he gets right."

Kai Cenat's social media account, with millions of subscribers, was targeted for the second time in the year. While TikTok was able to recover his account, it is unclear when his YouTube and Twitch accounts will be recovered. Neither the streamer nor the streaming channels have made official comments on the hacking. The hack has highlighted potential security and privacy concerns online.
