HasanAbi has joined the numerous commenters who have something to say about Adin Ross's Twitch account unban. The Turkish-American live streamer posted on X saying Adin Ross won't last long.
HasanAbi's X post read:
"Yikes this wont last long."
Adin Ross started streaming on Twitch in 2014 and gained over seven million followers before his account was banned indefinitely on February 25, 2023. His account has been banned numerous times for several reasons, including using hom*phobic slurs, besides hateful language, symbols, and conduct.
After his Twitch ban, Adin joined the Kick streaming platform but continued to push for the unbanning of his Twitch channel.
More details on HasanAbi's commentary on Adin Ross' Twitch unban
Adin Ross' Twitch account was unbanned on Saturday, March 29, 2025, after two years of indefinite banning by the Amazon-owned platform. After the unban, HasanAbi had a lot to say about it. During a Jusst Chatting live stream, HasanAbi's attention was drawn to a viewer's comment.
"Do you not think this was going to happen? You act like there isn't a rightward shift," The viewer asked about Adin Ross' reinstatement.
Hasan replied:
"No, I see that. No, I do see that. Look, people will say, 'Hasan, you're biased, Hasan, you're woke, Hasan, you're g*y.' Whatever the f**k. Okay? I just don't want other content creators to get f**king destroyed by this kind of toxic behavior."
He continued:
"I think, outside of being woke, there's an environment of toxicity associated with these guys that are, like, serial harassers, serial doxxers. Incredibly toxic! And it completely rips apart the remaining semblance of community that Twitch has had, as opposed to other platforms like YouTube."
Following his statement, another Twitch user commented on Ross' fan page, claiming Ross's community has changed:
"The AdinRoss community was huge, but also has changed as people like the FaZe boys have grown, as they all came from the same community, but they have different viewers and stances now, it's whether Adin wants to also entertain a Jason viewer or just edgy bs."
HasanAbi replied to the comment saying that Ross can go either of two ways:
"Yeah, that's what I worry about, though, because it's so alluring to be edgy because it's the most, like, bottom-of-the-barrel type of content. It's so hacky. You have two directions that you can go - you can be a positive force and try not to be, like, as r*cist as you once were. Or you can just be unshackled or unrestricted, and be as f**king r*cist as possible."
Adin Ross's reinstatement comes with a slight catch: His Twitch account lost all seven million followers it had previously amassed during his ban period. At the time of writing this article, it had about 56,000 followers.
