New mother, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has disclosed how she intends to explain to her daughter her involvement in the death of her own mother.
After completing eight years of her ten-year prison term for her involvement in the death of her own mother, Claudine "Dee Dee" Blanchard, the now 33-year-old woman was freed from Missouri's Chillicothe Correctional Center in 2023.
Dee Dee shaved Gypsy Rose's head, had her use a wheelchair, and made her take medication she didn't need for years, leading Gypsy Rose to believe she was a kid with a terminal illness.

After Nicholas 'Nick' Godejohn and Gypsy Rose met online and devised a plan to murder Dee Dee together, the latter allowed him entry into her Missouri home, where he fatally stabbed her.
A few months ago on December 28, Gypsy Rose and her fiancé Ken Urker, whom she had previously dated while incarcerated, welcomed a baby girl named Aurora.
Since then, the new mother has been sharing updates about her journey into motherhood on social media, including a 3D scan of their incoming addition and a list of her extremely expensive baby items.
She said in an interview with the LADbible Group: "How do you explain to a child? How do you explain because things come up, whether they're in school class, someone is going to bring it up, and I want to make sure that her family are the ones that talk to her about it before somebody else does."
Gypsy Rose spoke up on how much the topic has affected her mental health, demonstrating how anxious she is about the impending debate.
She continued: "After the postpartum hormones, I cried and cried and cried and had that emotional release that this will be something that I have to broach the conversation with."
Gypsy Rose said how she will seek the assistance of a child therapist and ask them, "How is the best way to start having these conversations?" when she eventually "broaches" the topic.
She hopes that with the assistance of a professional, they will be able to start "breaking it down" so a child can more easily understand and digest the situation. She acknowledged that "...it is beyond us as parents."
Gypsy Rose continued by asserting that there was "no handbook to parenthood" and that she was instead using her mother instincts as a guide.
She disclosed that many people had questioned her about whether she was concerned about following in her mother's footsteps, in terms of her behavior.
The reality tv star said: "She's two months old. so I already see myself making vastly different decisions than [Dee Dee] did and I take pride in that, and I feel like I have a very close knit family that would red flag anything that seemed weird or not appropriate."
The second season of Gypsy Rose's reality TV show, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, has been renewed.
