Kanye West seems to be admiring Drake once again on his X account. On March 6, West uploaded a tweet that said:

"I LOVE DRAKE IMA SAY THIS WHEN I DIE I NEED YOU TO SPEAK AT ME FUNERAL"

However, West decided to delete it afterward. On April 1, Ye reposted a clip from Drake's NOKIA music video:

"How I hate Drake and Iā€™m team Drake at the same time Life is funny like that Itā€™s the weird thing where I feel closest to Drake outta any body in rap"

Kanyeā€™s tweet suggested that heā€™s got a soft spot for Drake, even if theyā€™ve had their ups and downs.

Kanye reposts DJ Akademiks' post featuring Drake after the NOKIA MV release

Kanye West, along with showing respect for Drake in his tweet, also shared a post uploaded by DJ Akademiks on X. The post showed Drake's photo from the NOKIA music video, released on March 31, with the caption:

"Drake #1"

Kanye's tweets are loved by his fans for being raw and expressive. Meanwhile, the rapper uploaded multiple tweets about J. Cole and his music. In one of the tweets, he also mentioned Drake by adding:

"I hate J Cole music so much Itā€™s like between Kendrick and J Cole I bet you industry plants asked J Cole to diss Drake then we would have been accosted with a J Cole Super Bowl commercial with no SZA song to save it"

While Kanye commented on J. Cole and mentioned Drake in his tweets, Drake and J. Cole appear to maintain a strong connection through their many successful collaborations. Some of their biggest hits include First Person Shooter (2023) and In The Morning (2011).

Kanye West and Drake's relationship

Kanye West and Drakeā€™s friendship has been known for having ups and downs in the past. While both started off close, working together on Drakeā€™s Best I Ever Had video in 2009 and the song Forever, their relationship took a turn when Drake suggested he wanted to be bigger than Kanye in his 2011 track Iā€™m On One.

After many ups and downs, the rappers made peace in 2021 with apologies and even spent time together. However, Drake brought up Kanye in his 2022 song Circo Loco. In reply, Kanye released a Like That remix in 2024, mentioning Drake and J. Cole.

Kanye Westā€™s latest tweet saying heā€™s ā€œteam Drakeā€ adds to his many posts about the rapper. While Kanye occasionally shows his admiration for Drake, fans are eager to see if Drake replies to this.
