Hawk Tuah Girl Haliey Welch is set to debut in Glen Powell's comedy series 'Chad Powers after a long hiatus

Haliey Welch, the internet personality who rose to fame in 2024 after her viral TikTok with the catchphrase, hawk tuah gained wide attention, has been making rounds on social media.

Haliey is set to make a debut with the Anyone but You actor Glen Powell in his upcoming Hulu series, Chad Powers.

Following the cryptocurrency coin scandal that happened in December 2024 and Haliey's disappearance from the public eye and then coming back in March, followed by the SEC clearing her of any wrongdoing, Haliey has been a topic of discussion for quite some time.

Haliey Welch gained massive attention when her TikTok video went viral, as she became an overnight sensation. In the next few months, she began selling Hawk Tuah merchandise, launched a podcast called Talk Tuah, and even released a cryptocurrency meme coin called the $HAWK token.

As per TMZ Hip Hop, Haliey will be playing a small role in the upcoming Hulu series. In the series, she is seen playing herself in a club. The scene will also have Glen playing as Russ Holliday, who is a quarterback for the Oregon Ducks and is excited as he got selected to play in the XFL.

Glen's character has gotten his football career off track and hence uses prosthetics such as a blonde wig, a mustache, etc to change his identity and disguise himself as a Chad Power. He does this so that his real identity remains hidden and he can play in a new football game without anyone knowing. The series is inspired by the viral video Eli Manning made for ESPN. The series is scheduled to premiere in fall 2025, and the official teaser has been uploaded on Hulu's official YouTube channel.

After the meme coin scandal, Haliey Welch was under scrutiny and faced significant criticism from fans. She then disappeared from the public eye completely and made a comeback last month. In March, she also announced the release of her documentary.

The documentary will cover her journey from being an ordinary girl to an internet sensation. Along with the documentary announcement, she also started her podcast episodes that were put on hold. Last month, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concluded its investigation and did not impose any charge against Welch.

While the Twisters actor being in the series was not a shock for fans, the news of Haliey Welch making a cameo in the series was.
