Epic Games has once again created a buzz on the net over its Fortnite x Marvel collaboration for the release of the “Thunderbolts*” online video game. The game bears the same title as the highly anticipated Marvel movie “Thunderbolts*”, which is scheduled for release on May 2, 2025.
Two of Marvel’s solid fictional characters, Yelena Belova [White Widow] and Bucky Barnes [The Winter Soldier], would be added to the crossover. April 30, 2025, has been announced as the official launch date for this collab, featuring comic-inspired skins of these heroic characters.

More details about the Fortnite x Marvel collaboration
On April 30, 2025, the Thunderbolts* X Fortnite collab sets would be available on Fortnite’s item shop. This new project would include a tournament, enabling players to compete for the soon-to-be-added costumes.
The tournament is set to be held on April 25, 2025, and its rewards would be divided into three categories: the eight points category [Winter Soldier Wrap], the forty points category [White Widow Wrap], and the top players for each region category [Free White Widow ] skin.
Some of the bundles from both characters would include White Widow [pen and ink] fit, Emote, Back Bling, Winter Soldier [pen and ink] outfit, and Pickaxe, amongst others.
Marvel’s upcoming movie “Thunderbolts*”
Thunderbolts* is a comic-inspired superhero movie directed by Berkeley-born filmmaker Jake Schreier. It is set to be released on May 2, 2025, and will be the thirty-sixth movie from the MCU.
The movie features a host of stars, including Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, and Lewis Pullman, amongst others. The plot twist centres around a team of villains entrapped by the corrupt noblewoman, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who engages them in a life-threatening assignment.
This set of antiheroes must work together to execute this assignment, or else their freedom is at stake. Thunderbolts* would be the last film from phase 5 of the Marvel Comics Universe.
