What is Viewbotting?

Viewbotting is a deceptive practice that involves inflating view counts with the use of automated software, known as view bots. It is used to gain more views by a streamer for platforms like YouTube and Twitch, as mentioned in esports.gg.

By inflating their view counts, creators can create the illusion of a larger audience, which may attract genuine viewers and potential sponsors.

Viewbotting is strictly against Twitch and YouTube's terms of conditions and is considered unethical. The individuals who engage in this practice could be banned or suspended from the websites.

In a recent YouTube video posted on March 21, 2025, the link for which was shared on QueenGloriaRP's official X account, she addressed the incident while admitting her mistake to her followers, that she “messed up.” Her tweet read,

"I explained the truth in this video."

In the YouTube video, she said that it was her first time trying the viewbotting application but unfortunately, she got caught.

“Unfortunately I did get banned on Twitch, understandably. It's a shame because I think Twitch is missing out,” the streamer revealed in the YouTube video.

She further informed her audience that she will be continuing to stream on Kick and will probably, come to YouTube after being banned from Twitch.
