Disputes in reality shows go on even after the cameras are off. An example of an ongoing dispute is that of Amber Rose and Joseline Hernandez, which began on the set of College Hill: Celebrity Edition back in 2023.

The controversy initially arose as a racial identity discussion but later turned physical. Now, almost two years on, Amber Rose has indicated that she has not moved on from the incident. In a recent interview on Club Shay Shay, she said,

"F*ck that b*tch forever"

when questioned about Joseline. This remark has once again sparked public debate about their previous altercation and its aftermath.

Disagreement on racial identity led to the heated exchange

The confrontation between Amber Rose and Hernandez began in a classroom setting at Alabama State University, an environment intended for free discourse. The fight was about racial identity, with Hernandez, who is Afro-Latina, questioning Rose's embrace of her Black roots.

She implied that Amber Rose, being of mixed descent, wanted to be white. That remark did not impress Rose, triggering a heated exchange. The conflict went further after Rose physically confronted Hernandez. During an episode in Season 2 of the show, Hernandez allegedly told Rose,

"I identify myself and let you know who that is. Your problem is that you really wanna be a white girl,"

Fellow students and cast members stopped the fight before it went any further. Although the fight was a major event on the show, BET did not broadcast the footage. The network issued a statement explaining,

"Out of respect for all parties involved, we have chosen not to show this fight. College Hill and ASU do not condone violence of any kind."

Amber Rose claims Joseline Hernandez repeatedly solicited her

Rose alleged during Club Shay Shay that Hernandez continually attempted to pursue her when they were shooting College Hill. Hernandez, who is openly bisexual, repeatedly told Rose that she wanted to sleep with her, even going so far as to suggest that they could do so in front of her husband.

"Joseline Hernandez was attempting to have s*x with me the entire time I was at College Hill," Rose claimed.
"She was in my ear, she was telling me, 'Just give me a chance one time, you know. But if you cool with it, we can do it in front of my husband. But if not, like, it could just be me and you.'"

Rose alleged she first rejected Hernandez politely, saying to her,

"I'm flattered, it's just not my thing,"

but asserted that Hernandez persisted in making overtures. At one point, Rose accused Hernandez of intentionally bending over in front of her, exposing herself even though she knew Rose was straight.

"She knew I'm a straight woman, I don't like that," Rose stated.
"It's Joseline, she bending over with her v*gina and I'm laughing like, 'Girl, you crazy.'"

Joseline Hernandez denies the allegations and calls for responsible reporting

Hernandez has rebutted Rose's assertions, denying the accusations and averring she never inappropriately approached any woman. She explained the claims in a press statement uploaded on Instagram, expressing that she was adversely affected by the accusations.

"I've been s*xually abused as a child. I know how precious a girl's and a woman's body is. I don't approve of any sexual impropriety," Hernandez wrote.
"I never in my life attempted to pursue or go after any young lady or woman. This slander of my character will not pass unnoticed, and I will not rest until I am 100% vindicated."

In another Instagram Story, Hernandez also condemned media organizations for disseminating what she termed as misinformation.

"It's disappointing when individuals use serious issues for personal benefits, as it discredits genuine victims and fuels skepticism about their experiences," she posted.

Amber Rose insists that she will never forgive Joseline Hernandez

Even after so many years, Amber Rose has asserted that she has not moved on from the event. In her recent Club Shay Shay interview, she said she has no plans to forgive Hernandez. Her candid statement,

"I don't think about her but I just don't like her [and] there's no reason to forgive her."

has again brought focus to their war and generated discussions regarding how reality TV drama affects the participants years after the cameras have stopped rolling.
