"DEIDUBBBZ": iDubbbz seemingly responds to backlash of releasing Ethan Klein Content Cop

iDubbbz, whose real name is Ian Kane Jomha, released a video from his Content Cop series on April 16, 2025. The video targeted the podcaster Ethan Klein, who hosts the H3 podcast.

In the episode, he called out Ethan for his content, values, and behavior online. The video received massive backlash on social media from fans, followers, and other streamers.

Responding to the backlash, iDubbbz posted a picture of himself alongside Denims, Frogan, and SeanDaBlackon, who collaborated with him on the episode.He posted the picture on X and captioned it:

iDubbbz, known for his edgy, roast, and comedy style videos, is back with the Content Cop series, where he picks YouTubers and shares his views, mostly criticizing them for their content, behaviour, and hypocrisy.

In the episode that was released on April 16, 2025, he picked Ethan Klein, an internet commentator and host of the H3 podcast. In the episode, iDubbbz called out Ethan for his allegedly changing behavior and content style. He also claimed that Ethan had moved from doing funny content to more drama-focused content.

The video was made in collaboration with other creators, including Denims, Frogan, Noah Samsen, and HasanAbi, among others. After the episode was released, Ethan responded to the video in a podcast segment. Expressing how he felt about the people iDubbbz collaborated with, he said:

"How is it that he is going to ally with someone like Denims and Frogan? And Noah Samsen? Noah Samsen, who says... and Matt Lieb. How?! I am genuinely in shock. I cannot believe what a f**king cowardly bandwagony sh*ty f**king move this is. I am just in disbelief. I'm going to watch it live. Yeah, I mean, I don't care."

He then alleged that the video was a personal attack, and not a criticism. He called it mean-spirited and claimed that Lena, his employee, had a panic attack. He said:

"By the way, iDubbbz, Lena is having a f**king panic attack because, why would you do this and not even tell her? Why would you invite someone on the show and do this? It's just f**king mean-spirited. I am genuinely in disbelief. And by the way, I know all of the criticism that all of these people level against me, and there is no shot that this video holds any f**king water."

iDubbbz then responded to the backlash he received on X by posting a picture of himself alongside streamers Denims, SeanDaBlack, and Frogan. He captioned the picture as 'DEIDUBBBZ.' The DEI before DUBBBZ stands for Diversity, Unity, and Inclusion. In the US, it's a framework that organizations use to promote fairness and inclusivity among all.

The backlash that iDubbbz received was because the video was perceived to be harsh by most online fans, and hypocritical by many. Fans and followers felt that the series didn't have the edgy content. Instead, it was just too personal.

Streamers like Asmongold, Destiny, and xQc also spoke in support of Ethan. Destiny disagreed with the video and said that iDubzzz had crossed a line, while Asmongold questioned the true intentions behind targeting Ethan in the video.
