"Don’t got no problem with supporting other people that’s trying to do s**t, you know? Ay, you know I’m just doing. I don’t know it’s just really cool to see motherf**kers support me. Max, Adin too as well…umm, Taiga."

He clarified that he "might miss names" but overall said that he has a lot of support in the streaming community. Through the HIT-A-THON, fans are getting an opportunity to see DDG curate his new album, interact with him, and potentially decide which tracks go on to the album. Additionally, the rapper also set milestones for reaching a specific number of subscriptions.

Darryl's HIT-A-THON livestream is a unique way to build his community, which has left many engaged yet surprised. In the middle of his live stream, DDG spoke to Billboard for a live Q&A. When asked if he felt "overwhelmed" going online for "24/7," he responded that it was going "great" and "much better than" he expected. Additionally, he described it as his "biggest project ever."

He emphasized that his "family and friends" keep his audience entertained at all times. He added,

"since I got a lot of people here pulling up every day, it makes it easier for me to, like, you know, jump back and forth."

He also noted that it is "dope" for his audience to see the inner workings of making an album from scratch. He added that he pays attention to what the audience has to say and noted,

"If they don't like it, I don't like it."

DDG's stream-athon is expected to wrap up on April 1, 2025. He revealed the album and stream are an exciting project and noted that he and his team don't feel "overwhelmed" by it. The singer dropped his new single, Speed, featuring TY Dolla $ign and Rich The Kid, on the stream and is expected to drop more along the way.

In other news, the rapper had previously taken to his social media to discuss his relationship with Halle Bailey and alleged that the latter is stopping him from seeing their son, Halo. However, he noted in his conversation with Billboard that he and Halle are currently taking "shifts" with their son. For now, it appears that he is investing all his time and energy in his livestream and new album.
