Taylor Swift was seen at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, which took place on February 10. The singer went to the football game to support her boyfriend and tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce.

However, Swift received negative reactions and boos from the audience when seen on the stadium's jumbotron screen with Ice Spice. The Shake It Off singer didn't respond to the reactions.

According to reports, the boos were mainly coming from the Philadelphia Eagles-supporting crowd. According to fans, the Eagles fans didn’t like that Taylor Swift, who is from Pennsylvania (the same place as their team), was supporting the other team instead of theirs.

After getting support from Nina Turner and American hip-hop artist Flavor Flav, the singer is now getting support from Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

NFL on NBC uploaded a new video of ProFootball Talk, featuring Mike Florio, Andy Reid, and Chris Simms. When asked about Taylor Swift, Reid said:

"She's a good girl. She handles that whole thing the right way I mean that's a tough deal but she does a great job with handling it."

He further mentioned Travis Kelce by adding:

"Kelce does a great job of handling it. She's (Taylor) is part of the team. And like the other girlfriends and wives, they're part of it, and that's all part of the process I say."

The American hip-hop artist Flavor Flav also came to Taylor Swift's support by adding:

"Eagles fans will boo anyone,,, remember when they booed and attacked Santa Claus,??? SANTA CLAUS,!!! The only person who might bring more spirit and joy to people than Taylor Swift,,, and of course your boy Flavor Flav. Just Shake It Off."

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have not given any public statement on social media about the incident. Despite the crowd's reaction to Swift, Super Bowl LIX was an exciting game between the Eagles and the Chiefs. In the end, the Philadelphia Eagles won, beating the Kansas City Chiefs with 40-22.

Swift also attended Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. The couple made their relationship public in 2023 when Taylor went to Arrowhead Stadium to support Kelce.
