SNL50 brought back the Pete Davidson character 'Chad' in the new Instagram reel. First introduced on April 16, 2016, in Pool Boy, Chad, played by Pete Davidson, got attention from SNL fans for his carefree, clueless, and unconcerned attitude.
After gaining attention, Chad was seen in multiple SNL skits, including Chad Horror Movie and Chad On Mars. In most of his dialogues, he was seen saying "Okay" without being bothered about the situation.
After his last appearance in 2021, where he died in a space mission, SNL has brought back the character in the 50th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live.
Seeing a reel shared by SNL's official Instagram account, the audience couldn't contain their excitement. One fan (@miserablephillyfan) summed it up by saying

Fans are excited as SNL brings back Chad for the 50th anniversary
Saturday Night Live's official Instagram account uploaded a reel on February 17, featuring Chad as a night crew member in Studio 8H. The reel also featured American actress and comedian Laraine Newman.
In the reel, Chad is in 8H. Chad is seen saying "my bad" and "okay" multiple times, showing his lack of concern and casual, nonchalant behavior, which he is famous for.
After the reel was uploaded, it received attention from SNL and Pete Davidson's fans, who showed appreciation in the comment section.
"Pete davidson back on SNL? Seems like the world's finally healing-," another user (@bhallagenar_) added.
"I missed Chad! 👁️👄👁️ “Okay.” Such poetry." another user (@karo__ross) wrote.

The reel ends with Chad writing, "Congradulations on 100 years, SNL, from Chad." The spelling mistake adds to his lack of attention to detail and clueless behavior, considering this was posted on SNL's 50th anniversary.
Bringing Chad back was a treat for SNL fans, and there’s a chance he could appear in upcoming skits as well.
Pete Davidson joined the SNL50 red carpet
The American comedian and actor joined the Saturday Night Live red carpet in a dark grey-colored suit paired with a white striped shirt. He completed the outfit with black shoes and black sunglasses for a casual look.
