Carolyn Wiger has spoken out about the reactions to her elimination from The Traitors and the criticism directed at Danielle Reyes. The Survivor alum shared her thoughts on the situation, making it clear that she is moving on from the game.

In an interview with Us Weekly on February 24, Carolyn, 38, addressed the hate that Danielle, 53, has been receiving. She said,

“People are telling me this: ‘Carolyn, she’s getting so much hate.’ The game is done.”
She also shared what she plans to say when they meet again at the reunion. “Good game, girl,” Carolyn said.

She admitted to being "super emotional" after watching the episode but has come to terms with Danielle’s decision.

How did Carolyn Wiger react to her elimination?

Carolyn shared that she was frustrated after watching how her elimination was shown in the episode.

“I was pissed after watching that da*ng edited episode. I’m not going to lie, I was pissed,” she told Us Weekly.

However, she added that she is in a different place now.

“It’s been a few days now, and I’m just not in the same place. And I truly do feel so grateful for the experience.”

Carolyn admitted she was hard on herself for being emotional and wished she had been able to communicate differently. In the same interview with US Weekly, she said,

“Even how I’m perceived sometimes in my arguments,” she added. “I wish I could talk in a way where people are going to actually hear me.”

What led to Carolyn Wiger's exit?

Carolyn was one of the original traitors, chosen alongside Danielle and Bob the Drag Queen. Later, Boston Rob Mariano joined them. The group made several moves together, but tensions arose when Danielle wanted to bring Britney Haynes in as a new traitor.

Carolyn disagreed, and instead of seducing a faithful, they decided to eliminate Sam Asghari.

Following that decision, Danielle worked to turn other players against Carolyn. During the roundtable, they clashed, and Danielle compared Carolyn to Forrest Gump. Danielle later said it was meant as a compliment, but Carolyn disagreed. She told US Weekly,

“I certainly didn’t take it as a compliment. It hurt,”.

Despite this, Carolyn recognized that the game is about strategy.

“At the end of the day, it helps my game,” she said.

She noted that criticism of her strategy is part of the game, but she hopes personal remarks are left behind.

What does Carolyn Wiger think about the backlash against Danielle?

Carolyn Wiger is aware of the negativity Danielle is facing after her decision to eliminate her. “The game is done,” she said, indicating that she has moved on and hopes others will too.

Carolyn reflected on her own behavior in the game. She admitted that she was emotional and sometimes struggled to communicate.

“I wish I could talk like that,” she said, referring to a more controlled approach. “But truly, at the end of the day, I do believe there were two people in that game who thought Danielle was a traitor, and I didn’t have a chance anyway.”

As for the backlash against Danielle, Carolyn Wiger believes the game is over and hopes that fans can move on. And, according to US Weekly, it seems she is focusing on what she learned from the game and her future beyond The Traitors.
