Rumors are rife that Ben Affleck wants to rekindle his romance with his longtime partner and ex-wife Jennifer Garner after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
As reported exclusively by Sarah Jones in Page Six, Affleck is allegedly open to the idea of getting another chance with Garner, although she is in a relationship with her boyfriend John Miller since 2018, and not interested. Per Page Six:
Despite Affleck being “open” to the idea, a source exclusively tells Page Six that the “feeling is not mutual.” The insider further tells us that the “13 Going on 30” actress — who has been dating John Miller since 2018 — is “happy” with her boyfriend and “that’s just not where her head is at.”

Miller is a businessman who works as the CEO of CaliBurger and its parent company CaliGroup, the outlet noted. He is also an attorney.
Per Page Six:
The exes — who were married from 2005 to 2015 — were spotted giggling on Sunday [March 2, 2025] as they celebrated their son Samuel’s 13th birthday.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner first met on the sets of romantic war drama, Pearl Harbour in 2000, a report in Business Insider noted. During this time Garner was married to Scott Foley.
However, they fell in love on the sets of Daredevil in the summer of 2002. In an interview with Playboy magazine, Affleck said:
"We met on 'Pearl Harbor,' which people hate, but we fell in love on 'Daredevil.' By the way, she won most of the fights in the movie, which was a pretty good predictor of what would happen down the road — my wife, holding swords and beating the living s--- out of me."
Reportedly, in May 2003, the 13 Going on 30 actress filed for divorce with Foley. Later, in 2004, Jennifer Lopez and Affleck called off their engagement.

On April 17, 2005 the former couple got engaged when Ben proposed to the actress with a 4.5-carat ring from Harry Winston after her 33rd birthday party, according to In Touch Weekly. However, they didn’t confirm their engagement, as reported by People.
The report added that they finally exchanged vows in Turks and Caicos in June 2005 and made a public appearance when Garner was three months pregnant and expecting her first child. On December 1, 2005, they welcomed Violet Anne Affleck, in Los Angeles.

Garner gave birth to their second child on January 6, 2009, who is named Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. Later, on February 17, 2012, they became parents to their third child, son Samuel Garner Affleck.
After staying together for a decade, the couple announced separation in 2015, and finally filed for divorce in 2017. However, they continue to co-parent their children and are seen on vacations. This fuelled their reconciliation rumors.
