Goldie Hawn and Andrew Garfield were seen presenting the Animated Short Film award at the 2025 Oscars, which took place on March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The 79-year-old American actress is famous for her roles in The First Wives Club, Death Becomes Her, and Overboard.
While presenting the award, Goldie Hawn was seen struggling while reading the teleprompter and asked Andrew Garfield for help, revealing she has cataracts.
To this, Garfield replied to Hawn by saying:
"Goldie, can I tell you something very quickly? There's someone, there's a person who gave my mother, during her life, the most joy and the most comfort. And tonight, I feel very lucky because I get to thank that person from the bottom of my heart. That person is Goldie Hawn."
The Spider-Man actor revealed that his mother, Lynn Garfield, was a fan of the actress Goldie Hawn and found joy and comfort in her movies.
