Controversial Twitch streamer Adin Ross has made headlines again due to his recent statement about controversial rapper Kanye West on his stream. The 24-year-old streamer recently revealed on stream that he's had numerous opportunities to link up with Kanye for a stream, but he passed on them because he wants to avoid another Twitch ban.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction with the way fellow streamers like N3on and Sneako were disrespected during their stream with Ye.
“It's been what? Not even a month, I've been unbanned, and I've got collaborations I'm planning with, like DDG, and, you know, other Twitch creators and stuff like that, so I'm not here to basically…how do I say it? I worked really hard to get unbanned on Twitch and do a collab with my people and stuff like that,” Ross said when giving reasons why he didn't link up with Kanye West.
He continues:
“And another reason why I'm actually really happy I didn't go is the two clips that I saw. It was the weird shit where he said don't interrupt me or don't talk, all that. I don't f*cking know, but he was kinda speaking to them like they were animals and sh*t, you know, and it was kinda like wack to me when I saw Sneako and N3on, the way they were spoken. And you guys say I'm controlled in all these things. I really don't give a f*ck; I'm very happy that I didn't go; they got banned on Twitch that day. I would definitely have been banned; they would have banned my as*.
More details on Adin Ross’ Twitch ban
Adin Ross began his Twitch streaming career in 2014 and worked with the Amazon-affiliated streaming platform for nine years before his well-followed account was indefinitely banned on February 25, 2023. The reason given was ‘hateful conduct.’
Prior to his indefinite ban on the Twitch streaming platform, Adin Ross received seven temporary bans before receiving the longest one on his eighth strike. His first ban can be traced back to April 10, 2021, when he was banned for using racial slurs. His second ban came the following year, in April 2022, again for using hateful slurs and symbols.
On February 25, 2023, Adin Ross got his eighth and indefinite ban on Twitch after he revealed a screen of his unmoderated Kick Livestream, which was filled with antisemitic messages from his viewers and racial slurs. The streamer was hit with an indefinite ban that didn't go away until a couple of years later.
On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Twitch unbanned Adin Ross after over two years of indefinite banning. Adin Ross wasn't quiet about the efforts he made to get the account reinstated.
Adin's efforts are one of the main reasons the streamer is careful to avoid another Twitch ban. According to him, a stream with Kanye West will definitely lead to a ban on his account.
