One Life to Live alum Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King) is heading back to the High School Musical world for a guest-starring role in season three of Disney's series version of the teen dramedy.

Fans of actor/dancer Corbin Bleu (ex-Jeffrey King, One Life to Live) better get ready to sing their hearts out in excitement, because he's signed on for a guest-starring role in season three of Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Created and executive produced by Tim Federle, the third season of HSMTMTS is set at Camp Shallow Lake, a family-owned sleepaway camp in California, and follows the Wildcats and their fellow campers as they stage a high-stakes production of Frozen and determine who is "best in snow."

According to Deadline, Bleu will be playing himself in the season, and his appearance will no doubt thrill longtime fans of the franchise. After all, he starred in the original 2006 High School Musical film, as well as the sequels, 2007's High School Musical 2, and 2008's High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

But it won't just be Bleu's scenes that will bring about nostalgia for the original HSM films in season three; the musical selections featured in the season will also hark back to the mid-2000s films, with music from the High School Musical canon being included alongside tunes from Frozen and the Camp Rock franchise.

As Soap Central previously reported, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series also stars Days of our Lives alum Olivia Rose Keegan (ex-Claire Brady), as well as Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Other new stars joining Bleu for season three include Adrian Lyles as Jet, Camp Shallow Lake's mysterious new kid; Saylor Bell as Maddox, a bright-eyed, quick-witted "techie" who always follows the rules; Meg Donnelly as Val, a confident and funny college student and longtime camper-turned-counselor-in-training, who is ready to choreograph the summer production of Frozen; and Jason Earles as Dewey Wood, the stone-faced, killjoy camp director of Camp Shallow Lake.

Seasons one and two of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series are currently streaming on Disney+.
