Some serious daytime talent will be joining One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (ex-Adriana Cramer) in Hulu's upcoming animated series Marvel's M.O.D.O.K..

The upcoming Marvel TV and HULU series Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. was already sounding cool because One Life to Live alum Melissa Fumero (ex-Adriana Cramer) signed on to voice one of the leading characters in January of 2020. But the animated series just got a whole lot cooler: both Nathan Fillion (ex-Joey Buchanan, OLTL) and The View's Whoopi Goldberg have signed on to guest star.

Series co-creator and star Patton Oswalt announced the exciting news at WonderCon, revealing that Fillion will be voicing Wonder Man, while Goldberg will be voicing Poundcakes.

As Soap Central previously reported, the cartoon for adults follows Oswalt as megalomaniacal supervillain M.O.D.O.K., who has long been trying to conquer the world but finds his evil organization A.I.M. in shambles after years of setbacks and failures fighting the earth's mightiest heroes. Ousted as A.I.M.'s leader while also dealing with his crumbling marriage and family life, the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing is set to confront his greatest challenge yet: a midlife crisis.

Aimee Garcia will be voicing M.O.D.O.K.'s wife, Jodie, who's dismayed when her dead-weight husband thwarts her ambitions to pursue a lifestyle brand empire; Ben Schwartz will be voicing the couple's confident but strange son Lou; and Fumero will play the couple's 17-year-old daughter, Melissa, a Heathers-like queen bee of the school and star teen figure skater who yearns for her father's approval.

In addition to Fillion and Goldberg, other guest stars will include Mad Men's Jon Hamm as Iron Man and SNL's Bill Hader as Angar the Screamer and The Leader.

Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. -- which also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Beck Bennett, Jon Daly, and Sam Richardson -- debuts Friday, May 21, on Hulu. Check out a teaser trailer below and let us know your thoughts in the Comments section at the end of the article.

Melissa Fumero played the role of OLTL's Adriana from 2004 to 2008 and returned for a short arc in 2010 to help usher in the return of Gina Tognoni as Kelly Cramer. After leaving Llanview, Fumero went on to do a short arc on Gossip Girl before landing the lead role of Amy Santiago in Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Nathan Fillion played the role of OLTL's Joey Buchanan from 1994 to 1997 and returned for a brief appearance in 2007. He went on to star in series like Castle, Desperate Housewives, Santa Clarita Diet, Modern Family, and can currently be seen on ABC's The Rookie.

Whoopi Goldberg has been co-hosting the ABC talk show The View since 2007. She's known for several Hollywood films such as The Color Purple, Soapdish, Sister Act, and her Oscar-winning role in Ghost.
