BTS' Jungkook’s solo record GOLDEN made another mark in the music world after it surpassed Michael Jackson’s album Thriller in the list of most-streamed albums on Spotify. The GOLDEN album now ranks at #142 and MJ’s Thriller is placed #143.

The BTS idol dropped his first independent album GOLDEN in 2023, while MJ’s iconic record Thriller came out in November 1982.

Fans of Jk were delighted with his latest success, therefore, they swamped the social media with their admiration for the K-pop idol and his chart-topping album.

Numerous fans praised BTS' Jungkook for his new record. While some claimed that the idol will always slay, others said that Michael Jackson would have been proud of Jungkook. Another fan said that Jk’s GOLDEN journey was nothing short of iconic.

On April 7, @WORLDMUSICAWARD announced that BTS' Jungkook's album GOLDEN has topped 5.4 billion streams on Spotify. Jk’s solo work grew into the first album by an Asian solo artist to go above the stated streaming statistics on Spotify.

In addition, BTS' Jungkook's solo album became the fastest studio record by an Asian act to accomplish this mark. GOLDEN has joined BTS' MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 as the only Asian artist studio album to reach 5.4 billion streams on the streaming platform.

On November 3, 2023, Jeon Jungkook debuted the inaugural solo album, GOLDEN. There were seven songs on his album. The GOLDEN song list includes the following:
