Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan will headline the WorldPride Music Festival this time. The LGBTQ+ celebration will be held from June 6 to June 7, 2025, at Washington, D.C.’s RFK Festival Grounds.
Capital Pride Alliance & WorldPride Washington, DC 2025 took to Instagram on February 18, 2025, to share the news with their followers. In the caption they wrote,
“🌈 THE WAIT IS OVER! 🌈 The #WorldPride2025 Music Festival: Global Dance Party lineup is HERE—and it’s legendary! 🎉”
They further added details including the headliners and the star performers of the event.
The Music Festival coincides with the 50th Anniversary of Pride celebrations in Washington DC. All the proceeds from the event will go to the nonprofit Capital Pride Alliance and other local organizations supporting the LGBTQ+ community, according to the reports.
While the pre-sale tickets have already been sold out the next round of tickets for the World Pride Music Festival will be available starting February 20, 2025, according to Billboard. Tickets can be purchased through the festival’s official website and will reportedly cost $209.
However, attendees need to be 18+ to attend the event, as per the notice on the festival’s official website.
Who will be performing at the 2025 WorldPride Music Festival?
The WorldPride Music Festival will be a star-studded event this time. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, in addition to Jennifer Lopez and Troye Sivan, it will feature celebrities like Kim Petras, RuPaul (DJ Set), Paris Hilton, Grimes, Rita Ora, Sofi Tukker, Tinashe, Zedd, Raye, Galantis, Purple Disco Machine.
As per a report in the Washington Post, Lopez shared in a statement,
“Pride began as a protest — a fight for love, equality, and visibility. I know how important it is to create a world where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated for exactly who they are.”
“This is bigger than music. It’s about standing together, lifting each other up, and showing the world the power of love. I can’t wait to share this unforgettable night with you all.” She added.
Sivan too expressed his joy when interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, he said:
“At a time when community is more important than ever, celebrating love and pride feels like a necessity. Pride is all about joy, resilience, and making unforgettable memories, and I’m excited to be a part of this year’s celebrations.”
The list will also include Zedd, Kim Petras, Marina, Essel, Anabel Englund, Aluna, Anne Louise, Betty Who, Coco & Breezy, Crush Club, Dombresky presents Disco Dom, Kaleena Zanders Hayla, Leland + Friends, Karsten Sollors, LP Giobbi, Matt Suave, Patrick Mason, Sasha Colby, Slayyyter, Spencer Brown, Trisha Paytas and Ty Sunderland.
The event is produced by Dreamland’s Jake Resnicow, who said that WorldPride Music Festival will represent “a moment the world will remember,” as per The Hollywood Reporter.
He continued to explain the emphasis on including “legendary artists” along with the “global community” to create
“an electrifying celebration that unites, uplifts and amplifies LGBTQ+ voices like never before. Hosting this festival in our nation’s capital makes it even more powerful — it’s not just a party; it’s a global movement.”
How to get the tickets?
According to its website, the tickets for the WorldPride Music Festival 2025 will be offered into three tiers – General Admission, General Admission+, and VIP.
General Admission
Attendees will get access to the festival grounds on June 6 and 7, featuring over 60 performances across three stages. Plus, food purchases from DC’s favorite restaurants. People could also shop for official brand and festival merch.
General Admission+
This ticket will include all the benefits of General Admission along with the fast-track entry and premium air-conditioned bathrooms.
VIP
The VIP ticket includes all the GA and GA+ benefits along with front-of-stage viewing, unlimited access to the VIP lounge, a private bar, and an express lane at the festival store.
